Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?

I myself do not understand why they make a bad enough news to bitcoin, when bitcoin is in bad shape because the price keeps dropping a lot of negative news that I find either in Social Media or on Tv, maybe they deliberately want to drop the bitcoin and buy when bitcoint prices are lowered they expect to buy at a fairly cheap price, and they will make positive news after buying bitcoin, so the bitcoin they get can increase again and they will benefit from the increase,
just my guess alone

Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

I don't think they understand bitcoin at all, and they're trying to get the reader's attention by publishing some bad news about bitcoin. The media is controlled by the government, and the government is not friendly to bitcoin.

Not all media report negatively for bitcoin and it is also depend on their sources of information. Some media or press reports whatever information they get without fully examining or verifying their sources of information especially the sensational ones that will attract many readers or viewers. The stiff competition in media particularly in online news is one of the reasons why there is always a negative reports because it can attracts more attention than the good news. And the more viewers/readers they attracts, the more sponsors they get because sponsors like ads is the source of their income.

Yeah , Media is just a game of goverments which means they gave us the news that already being selected by the goverments .
They will decide what we like, what we hate and what we want if you're following those news.
Listening to the news with a selection will be a wise move , don't be their puppet guys.

A lot of media are making negative news about Bitcoin, because the news authors unconsciously do not understand about Cryptocurrency. They write articles about Bitcoin and seem to understand about Bitcoin, but they never learn the science of cryptocurrency. How sad.

If someone will become popular, I think its normal for us to hear some news which are actually wanted to destroy its popularity. In crypto, media really gives a big impact because some people are affected with the news which we don't know if it is real or not. Bitcoin is becoming more popular and  it's normal that we really heard this kind of news.

I think media, not only for bitcoin, but for many other things are not trustworthy.

I agree with you that right now it is better to let small amount of people join because more people will push the price so up. so with bad news, less people join and more profit will earn.

That's right, let alone bitcoin is something new in financial technology, so it makes bitcoin full of controversy. Especially when there is negative news, the news quickly spread and in the blow-up, so it seemed a lot of negative news.

I think it is not the media itself wants to show the negative side of bitcoin.  The one who manipulates the media that is against about bitcoin is the reason why the media itself looks against about bitcoin.  Bitcoin slowly gaining popularity in finance aspect and it is overpowering the banks or any kind of investing companies.  Because of cran mentality and hunger for money and power maybe some of them use media as a tool to destroy bitcoin's concept.

Well maybe it depends on what kind of country you are in.
Also we cant deny the fact that if we invest in bitcoin there is a "risk" in it. I think thats what they warn in other people.
Here in the Philippines we are not against in cryptocurrency its just that if a person want to invest in it they should first prioritize the daily necessities and budget their daily consumption in the house and maybe the excess they can use it in investing bitcoin. It just that the people is very greedy that they want a high return thats why theyre taking a risk which is not really a good decision.

Media is not totally become negative about bitcoin some media consider positive about bitcoin . Some media wants to popularity so they create this type of nonsense report but I personally still believe there have many positive values of bitcoin.

Not always negative but the media follow what really happened and the brand tell it. only sometimes they exaggerate the news so that more people who read it
