For instance, news about bankruptcy or hacks on bitcoin-related websites and services can cause panic and disruption among bitcoin users, leading to price dips. Negative news about government involvement and regulations as well as news on the use of bitcoins in illegal dealings such as drug transactions and money laundering tends to have the same impact on the bitcoin price.

Because mainstream media has double standards. if they see something positive they ignore it but when they see something negative they report it as if it is the end of the world. the reality is bad news sells more than good news.

bitcoin media is confusing because some people are losing bitcoin and using social media to break it down, so the bitcoin price is slowing down as socal media affects investors so they are afraid to invest money they may be scam even if they have not tried it yet.

Most likely because the media get pressure from the government, many media must follow the rules of government, because the government states bitcoin banned then automatically make the media preach negative things.

Well media was very near and connected to government, and we all know that Government were a total competitor of this curree whetlilewe like or not this government will do anything to blind people for using it, and we all know that the workers here expand the capabilities of this currency to be used by most of the people and it makes the price even better than before most of all no tax.

Because there are still many countries that do not accept Bitcoin, the media does not dare to report Bitcoin too aggressively. After all, the media is facing the whole country. The information it publishes must be allowed by the state.

Maybe because they don't see the best potential on bitcoin and they can't secure profit to it because of its unstable value, for my opinion it's better that media don't tolerate bitcoin because they will just control bitcoin on there own and we user will be the victim if that thing will happen in the future. First of all they see bitcoin as their biggest competitor also a barrier, why? because they see that if bitcoin enter the world of media the government that they follows might pressured them so they use media to confused people for them to lose knowledge about bitcoin. Media has its own way of spreading news. This may be in a positive or a nagative way. Not all media will show the good news bitcoin is inferring to the financial market. Most of all, bitcoin should not be publicized too much  for the anonimity of its users.

Because media is just a news spreader and they don't investigate much as long as they have something to share with public. It is their job to spread news regardless of it's effect. I believe that they are still clueless about the greatness of this long term investment that's why most of them always spread negative comments about it.

It is not impossible that the media could be manipulated by someone or by the government and the bank that are so fearful of the emergence of bitcoin. Who knows, they want us to hate bitcoin and to stay away or the media are just misinformed. It is just my opinion.

Cause the media always need sensational news and there is nothing more sensational to them than criticizing bitcoin and the crypto currencies. Also many government organization and banks run negative media campaigns against bitcoin. The media just loves to throw mud on anything they can.

no one knows exactly what the purpose is. whether it's just for news topics or there is another magsud behind. obviously bitcoin will not easily collapse only with negative media coverage. maybe investors will be affected but I think many investors are smart and not easy to believe in the media. they prefer optimism in bitcoin and persist in bitcoin despite a lot of negative news. So I think bitcoin will continue to survive despite a lot of media that aggressively preach negative bitcoin.

It is true that the media has been playing dubious role as far as bitcoin is concerned. There has been so much negative news about in the media over the past few months, which has caused the price to come down somewhat.

While I agree with most of what you said, I do not agree with this part :

Bitcoin was created using the greatest level of intelligence possible. It's the closest to perfection human kind can aspire, for now.

Bitcoin in all it's glory is not the most perfect thing humans have done so far, only pure mathematics comes close to that recognition. Bitcoin and in a large sense most other cryptocurrencies are variably flawed in execution, planning or perhaps even in their structure. Which is one of the reasons why we have SO MANY FRIGGIN CLONES!
