when are you going ro release a update and will you fix turbo mode
or didnt you guys touch on it yet.. i guess not...
The real delivery day is the predicted +2 months. But Bitmine support will never admit this. They will just spread out lies. You won't any working turbo mode as advertised. What you will get for sure is a middle finger by Bitmine. Turbo mode issue has been explained in great details in several posts so I won't enter once again into a discussion on this, if you really care to know the truth please go back and read them. kkkkmmttttttt the damn miner is outside ans its 11*C/52*F, even now if i try to turbo mode it il get 350 ghs drop of 50 ghashs from 400ghs, the odd thing is that it says 500ghs on the dashboard but when i check my ghs on the website it FUCKING SAYS 350GHS you missed your answer about the software update, buddy. Giorgio is going to laugh at your post. a software update? In what world do you live in. lol There is a programmable regulator on the boards that sets the voltage of the chips. Higher frequency = higher voltage, the loss of hashing power is thus perfectly normal given that in your specific case. The current version of the software uses predefined values but the beta version we're working on dynamically adapts this to your usage and has been giving much better results so yes, a software update is coming that will make this better.

Like i posted into the unofficial thread i think means a lot just to take some time at least on every 2-3 days and post an update regarding what order # was shipped ,something like : ''We shipped today from order # xxxx till order # xxxx total shipped to customers 30 units or 50 units or whatever will be''
I don't think this can be such a big secret and knowing this all customers that didn't received yet their machines will make at least one ideea when they will be next in line and will not send so many emails and make a lot of phone calls. I admit i took the risk when i paid for my coincraft desk and i assume that ,I am frustrated also like many because is a human nature but swear now Giorgio and bitmine ch and put all that bad words here doesn't help at all,i am just not a guy who swear whatever situation will be.
So Giorgio if you read this try to understand and every few days at the end of the day after a number of units was shipped to customers just make an official post what orders# from number x to number y was shipped and how many units ,also on the news on the site will be good and this will relax a bit more people seeing things are moving forward.I think this will cost you not more than 5 minutes. Thank you.
Do not bother, Giorgio you just answered what interests other things like worrying about the customers who placed faith in that does not care and gives no explanation, then says that if they insult and people lose papers and other I would like for it to be backwards that had invested money and other teased and now this man is doing.

CoinCraft Rig status updatesRevision 3 of the prototype hashing units for the CoinCraft Rig is now hashing at the expected speed. Production to be started in very short times. After two past major revision of the rig hashing unit, revision 3 was completely re-engineered in order to address the engineering challenged posed by the very high mining density and the 24V power distribution system. The newest prototype board, to be seen below, is now successfully working at the expected speed. We are speeding up the production as much as possible in order to reduce the delays and shoot a video of a fully populated CoinCraft Rig unit as soon as possible. Further updates will be posted once available, we are currently expecting the first rigs to be shipped in about 2-3 weeks from now. Production updates for CoinCraft Desk UnitsAfter a first ramp-up period, production is now going full scale at double the initially planned capacity, topping about 50 units per day. The recovery of the delays is expected to be reached in the next few weeks, while free upgrades triggered by the Customer Protection Plan are being added to the orders. In the meantime we are sourcing for additional supplies of high power rating ATX power supplies (1300W+) for the 1 TH/s desk units, the compensations set forth by the CPP have led to basically all early ordered desk units to be upgraded to full units coped with the delays of supply for already placed orders is now resulting in a temporary shortage. While we solve this problem we are delivering orders that are 800 GH/s or less and, as such, some orders may be sent earlier than others. If you want your unit to be delivered without power supply, please contact our support team to arrange such a change. Also, we have the pleasure to inform that we just hired two new people for the support team to cope with the ever growing requests and that the delays of the last days in the reply of e-mails and phone calls will be very soon reduced.

Just because no one posted it before - and although some might have noticed it already - here is the data sheet that has been released by bitmine today: https://bitmine.ch/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Bitmine-CoinCraft-A1.pdf (and here is the corresponding news article: https://bitmine.ch/?p=2226) Seems like the ASIC works more or less like expected Abstract of some charachteristics: Hashing power of 25 GH/s in nominal and up to 40 GH/s in Turbo mode. Power usage of 0.35 W/GH in low power, 0.6 W/GH in nominal and 1 W/GH in Turbo mode. Supply voltage of 0.5V in low power, 0.65 V in nominal and 0.75 V in Turbo mode.
A bit far from the stated numbers

@ GiorgioMassa
It would be nice to get any reply from you guys, because I just asked some normal questions 2 weeks ago, but didn't get any response / reply.
Maybe you could specify when orders made in December or January are ready for shipment, at the best calculation (50 desks a day) and the worst calculation. (for example 25 desks a day) It would reduce the mails and calls from the customers to you.
Thanks in advance,
Kind regards

@giorgiomassa
With regard to this "up to" issue. When someone says that this miner will mine at up to 1500 GH/s, it does not mean that you will receive something that will hash at an undetermined speed somewhere between 1 and 1500 GH/s. It means the user should be able to choose to mine at a speed up to 1500 GH/s. This is without any additional equipment, such as water cooled heat sinks, or running without a case in the Arctic, or running for no more than 5 minutes.
A car manufacturer will state that the top speed of a car is "up to" 120 miles/hour, this does not mean you will receive something that can only do 60 or 100 miles an hour. It means that on a normal straight road the car will be able to reach 120 miles an hour and it is up to the user to decide whether to pay for the additional cost of fuel at higher speeds or travel slow and reduce fuel costs. It also doesn't mean that you can reach 120 miles/hour if you fit aftermarket equipment, such as turbos or exhausts.
I have paid for something that was advertised as hashing at up to 1500 GH/s, I expect it to do 1500GH/s out of the box, without any additional home brew equipment added. I expect it to be able to run at 1500GH/s indefinitely (not just for short bursts). If your equipment cannot do this then I suggest you provide additional boards to allow the unit to reach 1500GH/s. You should then add an additional 10% per late week as per your CPP to the 1500GH/s.

order number #333X, February week 1 batch, paid at the end of November, 1 Coincraft Desk. Called bitmine few minutes ago and was told that this batch will be delivered in the middle of April perhaps ... just before the "after 71 days right for refund" CPP policy triggers (which is against EU regulations I guess). This doesn't smell good at all. If they doubled the staff to cover the queues than there are no viable reasons why it should be delayed for so long now. I guess they are selling and delivering to corporative customers, leaving the small fish until the last possible moment. Looks like I made a big mistake pre-ordering from bitmine, they blinded me with this "Swiss company" logo.

I ordered a 800GH machine in the Jan #2 batch (supposed to ship Jan 15 - lolz).
As of today my machine is 46 days late (first 10 days of being late don't count according to CCP, otherwise it would be 56 days late). So already I better be awarded an additional 40% hash power according to CCP (10% per every 10 days late). This is assuming it would ship today of course, which it won't. In 4 more days it will be 50 days late, which at that time I better be awarded 50% more hash power as promised by CCP. This will mean they have to fill my 800GH machine with a 5th card, and also and me an additional machine with 1 card.
In 14 days from now it will be 60 days late, at which time I will request full refund + 10% guaranteed by CCP.
Am I understanding this all correctly?

Hi, Yes your calculation is accurate. Thanks for the clarification. Do I need to contact support to request my additional hash or will they add it automatically?
