Hi,
Just wanted to share our experience on Bitmine. We placed an order last year, end september, upgraded the original order 2 times, got a coupon for 50% more hashing power (because it was not delivered on time) and lastly a compensation for the delay of the order (customer protection plan 10% per 10 days delay). In february we were thinking about asking the refund but I sticked with them. So what happened.
we got them at the phone several times, mail many times, discussed the compensation and then we drove 8.5 hours to Camorino.

Yes they do exist, they are real and they're human Smiley

We were welcomed by Christian Anselmi and greeted by Giorgio and other staff.
We discussed the current delays and as it seems they are not caused by them but by other companies having to deliver parts, some deliver in time but not the quantities agreed upon, causing delays to complete order. Others delivered to late, and others have delivered wrong parts, all this with the result that they have very painful delays. They're pushing out as much orders as they can, testing each machine and refunding people who ask for it and ofcourse are eligable for it. We saw the warehouse and they are working around the clock to deliver.

Anyway:

We stepped out 2 hours later with 4 Coindesks Smiley

and now they're happily mining away

For what it's worth to the waiting customers, they're really trying to fix this as soon as possible.

Greetz,

stoffg

so when did you pick up your miners and how much CPP did they gave you?

the CPP is calculated with weekdays, not working days Smiley
I have checked this with bitmine
So eligible to have refund in beginning of may

jseppeli
you mean weekends are calculated also? if yes then that is good news cos i will ask for a refund in the first day when i will be eligible.
Thank you

Yes also weekends are taken into count

Here is the answer I got when I asked which way they counted days

yes they are loud Smiley not possible in an office environment, keep in mind that they need good cooling. the warmer they get the more heating they need, the morepower they consume.

turbo mode works as listed, but more errors are generated during mining and power consumption is higher.

HELP

Somebody please make a backup of Rpi SD card and upload it somewhere. Support of Bitmine is useless, I mailed them a week ago and I still don't have answer regarding this problem.

My SD card is probably corrupted a this is what I get when I log to web interface:

For this specific reason, I asked Zefir if SD could be accessible from the front or back via extension cable, but SD is wearing out...

So this one might have been mining for some time, and wearing out of SD is usual...ask for image, ask for permission to open the box, put new image on new SD-card and try...

HELP

Please contact support@bitmine.ch for 1st level support. The support staffing was improved recently, response time should be quite good meanwhile.

I already contacted support on 17.3. with this problem, second problem in this mail was refund of shipping paid twice (already promised to me in February).

On 18.3. I got response from Antonio:

Antonio (Bitmine AG)
Mar 18 16:24

Dear Sir,
I will have to communicate our credit team and I will let you know.
Thank you for your patience.

No response since then, no mention of problem with software.

On 25.3. I wrote personal message here to Giorgio Massarotto about this problem, no response till now.

Yes we are aware of the problem as it currently works only with firefox, we are releasing next week an updated firmware that fixes this and other minor issues.

Thanks for reporting!

@giorgiomassa-
As per above posts, there is a November order that is receiving his unit (Example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291141.msg5933671#msg5933671)

I paid 34+BTC, confirmed payment on Sept. 12th, and **crickets** for me.
I understand there are delays, but any chance you can explain why shipping is completely out of order?
Or better yet, any chance it can be corrected?  *Please!*

If power supplies are the issue for Desks, I even offered to upgrade another module to break it into 2x 600s, and was denied...  There has to be something that can be done to ship an order for someone who ordered 2 months ahead of where the queue appears to be... ?
