I was told today that they they will finish shipping orders around number 3020 today and there won't be any shipping tomorrow and on Monday because of bank holidays. Shipping commences again on Tuesday.

Ok for Monday holiday but tomorrow the banks will be closed and Bitmine is not a bank.

Now is sure , Bitmine is doing nothing to empty the orders queue.

What a shame!

Bitmine make me ashamed to be Swiss.

Update on my situation:

Was in Jan batch #2. Machine never came, free 50% extra hash wasn't very appealing to me with difficulty minimum 4x up. Once 71 days were up I emailed them and requested a refund, which I did over 2 weeks ago. My order now says "cancelled" but have yet to receive my refund + 10% as promised by their CPP.

So as of yet I have not received a refund wire from them (I paid in USD). Today I emailed them again, and was told refunds are sent 30 days after requesting them lolz. Wait 5 months and get no machine. Then have to way another 30 days, when they could easily send the wire the same day or the next at latest after requesting a refund. I mean, they have my money so why should they be allowed to hold onto it for another 30 days? Wtf.

Beyond annoyed.

Here is my prediction of what will happen next: 15 more days will pass (making 30 days after refund requested), and refund will still not have arrived. Then when I email them again, the response will be: "I will pass it to the finance department", which will go nowhere and another 30 days will pass with no refund and who knows from there.

At this point I am expecting nothing from them ever and writing it off as a total f*cking loss. Should the wire +10% show up within the next month I will be totally shocked.

So there ya go, thanks Bitmine.

Adam - you will not have to write it off; if Bitmine cross the line from badly managed, over promised, under delivered company through to a complete fraud, there are many legal routes available. There are also lots of news organisations interested in Bitcoin related stories who don't shy away form discussing individuals by name. To date, they have stayed one side of that line; a pain to those of use waiting for miners and then refunds, sure, but they haven't just run off with the money.

Here's an example of a recent story:  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2603742/British-boss-Bitcoin-virtual-currency-firm-wanted-Cyprus-suspicion-fraud.html

And that was for £70,000 of BTC. Bitmine have much more in the balance...

And if Georgio thinks that this is just a little UK newspaper: http://www.thedrum.com/news/2014/04/18/mailonline-trumpets-highest-daily-readership-total-ever
Talking of last month (March 2014) : "close to 180m global monthly unique visitors over the month as a whole" - 120m of those are outside the UK.

I'm confident that my BTC refund will happen within the 30 days. I'd like it sooner rather than later, but more than anything, I just want my refund so I can get on with things.

I watched this thread from the start and i was waiting for their 0.35W/GH which failed miserably. For those that still have money or who can get a refund have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=575499.0

Do you really think people who has pre-ordered and are still waiting for a 2months+ late delivery would pre-order something else?

And delivery august?? That's just insane!
Difficulty can then be 1000% more than now and then the 5.4TH/s unit is as much worth as a miner than it is as a doorstopper.
That's just too far in the future
What if they do a Bitmine and deliver 70+ days late?

I do think that people who were burned deserve a better treatment. I covered this aspects in the second post of that thread.

Difficulty won't be 1000% then. Do some calculations and you will find out that that's simply unreal and unsustainable at this exchange rate.

They won't do a Bitmine. They already had some pre-orders for their SP10 miners and they shipped a few days earlier than announced. Don't compare Bitmine who was funded only from customers money with a company that is funded by top 2 Israel VCs firms. (again i covered this aspect in the second post of that thread)

lol

Whatever I will do I will definitely not pre order ever again... anywhere...
and why should I with people selling 1THs units that are shipped the next day.
Waiting here for sth. that might come or might not come in one, two, three
months is ridiculous. The Bitcoin world can change over night.
In three months you need to have your ROI. If you wait these three months
there is no way that you make a serious profit compared to all the other options.
Even getting a refund and investing in cloud mining is better than waiting here.
If they do not pay in 30 days get a lawyer right away in Switzerland and stop
whining about not receiving your money. Stop being losers people.

Wake up!

Hey guys,

after having posted this link to regroup unsatisfied customers, we are 21 for now.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1uyeWpvncTZwI7QDW2hTwLoOXhWMmHBOr9N0gzgZycbs/viewform?usp=send_form

I'm pretty sure the real number is quite bigger. let's regroup !!
Feel free to ask for the list for your legal use, once listed please.

I compared the order number, date of order and date of payment.
And some order number are really scrambled, people ordering and paying before some other customers are ending with an order number bigger than some order paid after. So this looks pretty bad to me.

Here is some helpful links that you can use :

For people living in Switzerland :
I filled a complaint on this website
http://www.frc.ch/articles/denoncez-les-pratiques-deloyales/

It’s the process that looks like a swiss class action, even if class action doesn’t exist in Switzerland.

You will still have to file an other complaint to a police station if Bitmine doesn’t refund you.

Also, I looked over Swiss laws and RS 241 seem to correspond to some of Bitmine misbehavior.
http://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classified-compilation/19860391/index.html#a3

For people living in EU :

http://ec.europa.eu/justice/consumer-marketing/unfair-trade/unfair-practices/is-it-fair/getting-help/index_en.htm

or

http://www.econsumer.gov/

Good luck and fortune to you all.

To send a contribution for the work done. not speaking about Bitmine's work...

I would recommend that pool also for merge-mining.  If you don't care about alt-coins then find the nearest P2Pool server with the best ping time for you - http://p2pools.org/btc

Hello Bitmine!

Any updates? New firmware? Working "Turbo Mode"? Any news? Any information? Any any?

I would like to know how bitmine will compensate the not working turbo mode. "up to 50% additional hashing power" means, 50% extra power is reachable when conditions are good. Currently the turbo mode does not work at all except the consumption auf electricity ;-)

I have checked the "up to" description by a lawyer, he verifies my sight of view.

So bitmine, what now?

What do you think how it looks like if you return refunds only then after 30 days and not earlier.
You said in your TOS "within 30 Days" and not the last day of 30 days.

Refund requested on 04.04.14

Thats 18 Days you held my money as hostage!
I will post everyday until i ll get my money back.

I am really keen to see when you give me back MY money. Its not yours, it is mine.

Bitmine give me back my money! And I'll forget about you forever!

You simply speak just BS..
If you were a Swiss, you knew that Good Friday and Easter Monday no one works in switzerland! No postal service, no DHL, no FedEx, no bank, no business, simply nothing.
How should Bitmine send something away these days? With pigeons?
It's time you handover your swiss citizenship, if you're ashamed of anyway!

List of the official holiday :

http://www4.ti.ch/dfe/de/uil/legge-lavoro/giorni-festivi-in-ticino/

I've never say that Bitmine must to send the miners at Good Friday but was honest to build much miners as possible and be ready at the next fully working day. But maybe Bitmine doesn't want to empty the queue.
