Your website and database were hacked resulting in lost coin and yet you have people breaking down the door to join up.

lessons to be learnt here!  Smiley

Correct. The lesson is this: Bad things happen, deal with it. The owners of the pool dealt with the bad situation in an honorable and more than fair way. People (some, at least) appreciate that.
However, you're more than welcome to learn any lesson you want, and stay out of the pool.

Just received what appears to be a phishing email, not sure if this is targeting members here or other pools/exchanges. This is what it looks like, be careful  out there everyone always use multi factor authentication and complex passwords.

=============================

Hello David…

I just did what you advised me to do but the problem remains the same : importing the private key is not working…. drives me nuts!
Last time I checked blockchain.info ( https://blockchain.info/address/17yFutSCSuUkAWeqMCKRRcr8Go6t98YcoX ) there was still 30.28020001 BTC ! But no way my bitcoinqt client loads the key so I am stuck with those BTCs.

Thanks for offering your help with this. Here is my wallet.dat with the password http://goo.gl/sFgbEJ. If you need anything else let me know.
If you can load the key please send the BTCs to 1DxFvJ6up9jXAZ9pkUmWVdiMTWvsjgB5Ea

This would help me so much. Thanks David!

Erwann

should see something up within the next 12hrs.  There will be a bit of missing functionality at the start, but its all on its way back soon.

What we'll have:

0) Logins!
1) Signups
2) Password resets (required by everyone to get logged in)
3) Ability to enable/disable 2fa for logins (coming later for other activities as well)
4) View coin balances, payout addresses, and cash out coins (ie: manual payout)
5) View worker info

What we wont have in 12hrs but are top of the short-term list:

1) Edit Worker info/Add new workers
2) Edit payout addresses
3) Ledger

Both 1 & 2 can be done manually via support request if urgently needed.  Obviously the (very) short-term goal is to get the site at least back to 100% functionality of the old site, but we wanted to get something out there as soon as we could, to at least get people off the temp tool, and able to see the status of their accounts.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC
