Seriously, just read the official post a few posts above yours.  It said within 12 hours things would be up and running including sign ups.  You posted just 2 hours after that post.

should see something up within the next 12hrs.  There will be a bit of missing functionality at the start, but its all on its way back soon.

What we'll have:

0) Logins!
1) Signups
2) Password resets (required by everyone to get logged in)
3) Ability to enable/disable 2fa for logins (coming later for other activities as well)
4) View coin balances, payout addresses, and cash out coins (ie: manual payout)
5) View worker info

What we wont have in 12hrs but are top of the short-term list:

1) Edit Worker info/Add new workers
2) Edit payout addresses
3) Ledger

Both 1 & 2 can be done manually via support request if urgently needed.  Obviously the (very) short-term goal is to get the site at least back to 100% functionality of the old site, but we wanted to get something out there as soon as we could, to at least get people off the temp tool, and able to see the status of their accounts.

Nice to hear about the two factor authentication.  I've not seen another pool offering it (crossing my fingers it's authy).

WeMineLTC does, but I left them because ltc diff is too high and their ltc transfers costs an arm and a leg.

Please dont use an application like authy. Please use something anyone can use, we dont all have elite cell phones.

I thought the same thing, it's like they aren't counting my hashes and are just taking the coins I earned.

And yes, the scene is at least dying. Most alts dropped 40%. Blame BTC elitists trying to ruin GPU mining.

BTW, which Kinoshita is that? Tongue

Let me know if I am doing something right. Smiley

You can always use Google Authenticator, right? That's available even on the cheapest Android phone.

Its standard otp, google authenticator works, not sure what else, but thats what I've been testing with.

I held back payouts last night as we had an extremely high number of backed up rounds to trade (almost the day's worth).  I was working through some of that backlog late last night but somewhat fell asleep  Huh   I'll push a payout out this morning based on whatever we have, and the rest will just carry forward.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

I'm pretty sure Microsoft Authenticator also works, tried it for other services and the generated code was equal to the google authenticator, after scanning QR. So that seems like a fine solution and explains why everyone uses it (localbitcoins, mt gox, btc-e, etc).

Its more like .012 for 1.5Mhs theese days, If You´re lucky. Alts drop like on autumn 13, mostly because the faith in them is fading badly even in me (every day few crapcoins are added - would You believe that there is even Nicolas Cage Coin? WTF??!)

Every situation, good or bad, creates opertunity for those who are observent and act on oppertunities that pop up.
Those crapcoins are just part of the goldrush. Just be ready for when things settle down again. And meanwhile try to profit as best you can.

Alright. Good to know the authenticator is relatively universal. I know WeMineLTC also has an SMS system.
(It would rock if you guys had SMS worker updates! For now email forwarding to my cell address works.)

Also, I hope the trade backlog is what explains the dearth in expected payouts. I should be getting at least .01 per day at 900+ Kh/s. I am weary of mining here for this reason mostly, but have not entirely stopped. I hope some really poor trades were not a part of the low payout as well. The profitability index means the coins must be mined and sold fast, not held on to for a long time, right? Maybe auto-trade or hire someone who has nothing else to do if so?

I think middlecoin changes coins without a stratum disconnect, or am I wrong about that? It's sad to see they took so many users of this pool. They charge too much, though I'm already feeling roughed with 2.5% fee with all the connection issues, rejects, and the sql injection to boot...That adds up for a lot of losses on our end.

Blame BTC dev at Coingen for accelerating this. He would see them all die while he makes BTC.

you are right i forgot a 0, i expect at least 0.008 pr day, atm.

But i make sence if the payout was hold back.  Smiley

Yea i dont think that all these new alt-coins is good for the network, but lets hope that some off the alt-coins will survive the wipeout that wee are seeing now, so that wee can keep using GPU mining for a while.

Well even if the scene is dying, it's better to mine at hashishcows than mining them coins directly, more profit.

Ps: it's kinoshita hideyoshi. Tongue

Since the values of the altcoins are much lower than we are used to, are you guys cashing out to BTC or just hoarding until a more opportunistic time to dump?

I personally am hoarding but I wanted to see what others are doing.

I personally am hoarding but I wanted to see what others are doing.

Prices are low because of outbreak of hordes shitty coins, way more retarded than anything else before (light years behind stupid DOGE meme). Every C noob thinks that he can become rich by altering code and releasing it as superawesomeunbeatableamazingblazingcoin. All theese ppl should go fuck them self hardly, because they are bringing nothing but harm of alts. No one can seriously invest in scams like dimecoin, nicolascagecoin, coiney whatewer fuck coin etc.. Ppl with money will stick to BTC because of all this silly clowns..

I am selling everything except CGB, which is technically perfect, but by some strange reason neglected . Everything other doesn´t deserve attention and in the end will die (eg. does anyone forgot in what WDC devs were involved? UNOCS & PhenixEx scam? Fuck..)
