Most companies where I live have a few weeks off during christmas holidays. Is not that the case in US?
If so, maybe add 2 weeks is in order.
This is a good point, adding 1-2 weeks would put our full-volume timeframe would put us at Dec. 13 - Jan 17. That is, if foundries have holidays off which I do not know (and welcome someone more knowledgeable weighing in on)

They'll be triple shifting that shit all the way through.

Let's go conservative. Ken issues bullish announcement during his visit to eASIC, and estimates two weeks for NRE to be paid 26th July
Ken returns from his trip to eASIC and the Engineering firm 3rd August
Ken posts to say he is busy working on eASIC deal 4th August
NRE Funds paid (sometime before August 28th)
Ken confirms NRE funds were converted 'some time ago' 28th August
eASIC issue press release 4th September
Avalon refund confirmed as having been received 12th September
Chip samples delivered in 9 weeks; 31th October
Ken announces gradual hashrate increase including 'other resources' 30th October
Low-volume chip production starting in 12 weeks, using an e-beam process; 27th November
Normal volume chip production starting in 16-18 weeks. 26th December - 8th January

A foundry may not (and in fact I wouldn't expect it too but didn't want to say anything definitive due to my aforementioned ignorance) but our engineers, or suppliers (though this shouldn't be an issue as we should have all of the extraneous parts by the time our chips get here), or some other link in the chain that isn't the foundry MAY have holiday delays, again, nothing is definitive and we would need to hear it from Ken to know for certain.

Hey Vince, the dates you offered have the sample chips arriving 1 day after Ken announced we were hashing with 'other resources'.

Indeed, otherwise the estimates look pretty good, at most I'd say Vince is MAYBE a week too pessimistic.

You're assuming "other resources" means easic chips, I don't think it does, I think it's more likely to be some fast hash 80's which are avalon clones.

I respectfully disagree, we had all 10,000 of our Avalon chips refunded. All the hashing power that is accounted for at the moment are 6 avalons and 68 klondikes. The only other hashing resources we could possibly have (unless 3rd party hardware was bought and not announced, which would be a majorly stupid and deceptive move) are our own chips.

Yes, I love counting my chickens before they hash, er...um...hatch, also, but, let's get clear on some facts:
How many mining machines does ActM have running and mining currently: Zero How many gigahash does Actm have mining: Zero On how many exchanges can ActM stock be traded: Well, there are a few shares on crypto something or other, but effectively, Zero How many ActM/VMC mining machines have been delivered into the hands of customers: Zero
How much money will you make from Active Mining: Zero
Sure, messages exposing the delusional posts of those who take on posting, one sentence from KS and over analyze them are deleted, but let's be clear here, only Ken has the answers and all of you working overtime speculating on what Ken meant are foolish.
You are confusing me.. one moment you are extremely optimistic about everything, and then you're extremely not. Maybe you should go make up your mind first, and THEN post?

I am making a promise to the company, that if my shares are active on crypto-trade by Sunday, I will give Ken 7 Bitcoins. You have my word, I swear it on my families graves.

Weekly Update 12/11/13
Crypto-Trade:
Still working on the verification program, which should be finished this week. After the verification program is finished we will have a time where shareholders will be able to verify their shares. After that we will move this batch over to Crypto-Trade and start trading. Lagers will still be able to verify there shares and will be moved to Crypto-Trade in batches.
VMC:
We are continuing to bring in all the parts for mass production of our miners.
AMC:
We will be using a minimum of 50% of our manufacturing capacity to build miners for AMC's mining farm.

In the process of purging this thread. Come on people, I don't care if you fud or have unpopular ideas, as long as they are at least somewhat on topic.
For the record, it is not against the rules to insult people, parody ones likeness, etc. But at least slightly on topic would be preferable. If your post has to do with Active Mining, positive or negative, service discussion, speculation, etc, anything on topic, its fine.

May I ask why it matters? The thread has been this way since day 1

May I ask why it matters? The thread has been this way since day 1 I wasn't the moderator of this section from day one. Honestly, I'm not really a stickler to moderation policy, if people want to have fun, mess around, joke around, whatever I'm all for it, as long as half of the people that are in the thread for the intended purpose don't care, I'm fine with it. however I get at least 20-30 reports about this single thread per day. I try hard to justify posts as on topic, but some of these are too far off to even be construed as on topic.
