Hello my dear Bitcoin brothers.
I would like to ask you about your experience with day/swing trading vs. long term investing and also, what was more profitable for you and what are pros and cons for both ways of trading?
This question interests me since market is very volatile and it can get quite easy to exploit daily range for a quick small profit.
Thank you fellas.
Based from my personal experience, short-term investments tend to benefit me more due to fluctuations in the price in a short amount of time. Remember like 3-4 months ago when bitcoin prices skyrocketed up to $20,000? I instantly withdrew all of my coins and profited two-folds from it. Every investor has their own experiences in trading. One might say that long-term investing is more profitable but others might argue that short-term is more viable. This depends on your goal as an investor whether you focus on the long-term or short-term perspective. Long term or short term, both can give you profit. if you choose short term, that's sure you can't get more profit, you just earn the little profit. But if you choose long term, you can earn so much profits from them, although you must wait for the long time, but it's fair for me.
Considering how the market works better to say that there’s no assurance to make profit both on long term and short term. The risk are high but if you are willing to take it I’m sure its worth it. Always know what strategy you will use to prevent big losses. That is why you need to be updated to the recent news about cryptocurrencies as it influences the price. People should regularly check the market volume for potential spiking and predictions but investing into cryptocurrencies are generally a 'high-risk, high-reward' system.

Long term investing in bitcoin is sort of like buying then forgetting about it. You don't need to constantly check the price and worry about it dropping. It's much more relaxing compared to investing short term. If you're willing to go in for the long term then the long term investing is always better, but if you want some quick money short term is the way to go.

You can never achieve anything bigger if you don’t take high risks. Although it is always advice to go for a less risky option but when your goals are bigger then the hard world would be bigger, along with the bigger risks. It is often says, “If you want to achieve something extraordinary that you haven’t achieved yet, then you have to put extraordinary effort as well”. So yes high game high work.

It depends on us, we can invest short term and long term investment. For short-term investments we should be more active in market situations, whereas our long-term investments only hold bitcoin for the time period we have set.

Any experienced investor would go for both. They put big amount in long-term investment and some semi-liquid short-term investment for - you know, people neds cahs sometimes for unexpected reasons.

The terms long-term investment and short-term investments have different meanings in crypto market. Normally, long term investments refer to any investment made for a period of more than 1 year, but here, a period of 3-4 months is considered a long term investment. If you are interested to invest in an altcoin, then a short term investment would definitely be a better option since they give you immediate returns. Also, altcoins tend to be very volatile, so you have to be quick in selling your investment once the coin reaches its peak. I prefer to keep a larger share of amount for long term investment while the remainder for short term investment.

` It will depend on how you want to them to happen or the best suitable strategy for you to use. For example, if you target short term investment and trading you need to steel your patience since as what you said bitcoins value is so volatile that any moment it can change even in an hour. One should avoid on going on panic because this is probably the main reason why some of us loses bitcoins rather than profiting from it. As for long term investment and trading you need more of a patience compared to long term because you will be holding it in a longer time. This strategy would probably give you chance to gain a very large profit if played correctly and with proper timing.

Short-term investments can generate more revenue in a short period of time. Long-term investment is relatively stable. It may take a long time to bring a lot of benefits. Short-term investments are risky, and you may be prone to frequent trading losses.

For me i would love to use the short term investment because if time comes that the investment become scam for sure you'll money back to you and if you choose the long term their is a higher chance that your money didn't come back to you and it is like gambling that you risk money not knowing when to get profit and get the money you invest.

For many people short term is a quick method to earn money but it is really dangerous. If you are new to trading you shouldn't try shorting. It is fairly easy to lose all your money because of lack of experience and information. It is important to do some research before shorting, it will help you to predict what might happen to certain cryptocurrency. Long term is much more safer, I would go for it if I was a newbie. Buying BTC as a long term investment is a good idea.

If you want quick money you will be short-term investment because many of us need finance and need short term investment, For comparison with long term investment.
when it comes to cryptocurrencies, its never a good idea to invest in the short term especially if you are not a skilled marginal trader because you are bearing a huge risk and you could either win or loose but if you plan to keep your investment for the long term then you are almost certain and guaranteed to make profits because bitcoin seems to be always going forward and grows past its previous value every year.

Longterm-can earn a lot of profit because you need to wait the price increase very high before you sell it and usually takes few years.
Short investment-you can get some profit only but you need to wait few weeks or months only.

You need to determine if you want to invest in the short term or long term. Investments in Bitcoin, Ethererum, NEO, Ripple, potential cryptos in the next 2-3 years should be considered. If you just want to make small profits in the short term, invest in ICOs or new indexes on the exchange floor.

If I would to choose between short term and long term, i'd rather go for a long term investing for higher earnings. Advantage of that long term is to study the movement of market before selling your coin...

I like short-term investments, especially those with very volatile volatility such as bitcoin. The return on investment is uncertain, so I'll sell it when the expected return is reached.

It really depends entirely on people whose investments will be short or long. In a long investment, there are savings for the future and more profits. On the other hand, profit is less in terms of short investment and no security and futures needs.

Short-term trading in bitcoins can yield more revenue in a short period of time, but it is risky. It's hard to predict the price of bitcoin, and if you do a short-term deal, you might get more revenue, but it's also risky.

I think, perhaps the simplest answer is that with short-term investments the profits will be faster but less than long-term investments, with long-term investments you will take longer to earn profits but will profit more.
