I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.

I think you should buy Bitcoin instead of buying at ICO. Because ICO is very risky especially your newcomer in the crypto market. You do not really know which good coin. If you buy and invest in Bitcoin it has proven to be very promising for investment assets. |

You must have some bitcoin and some other top coins. After that, only research good ICOs with good teams and projects to invest into. Usechain is one of the good upcoming ICOs.

If you can choose the right Ico, ICO is definitely better.
But as far as i know to day a lot ICO is scam, but not all of them.
And i think better you can invest your money to bitcoin or other coins or something that has proven to be the result.

Why not do both? BTC has the dominance in the market and all the altcoins follow its movement. Keeping BTC in your portfolio never hurts. BTC indeed will give less ROI now but is a safe bet. ICO tokens are highly volatile and risky investment. You shouldn't put your all money in just ICO tokens. They indeed have a potential to give huge ROI. But most are scams. If you can take risk, then going partially in ICO is good. |

For me, I would go for ICOs. Better potential for higher returns if you play your cards right.
Indeed, the main ones that seemed to show promise are the ICOs with great organisation and idea, as opposed to the best marketing strategy. ICOs like Rentberry bring the ideas of long-term leasing to the blockchain and Multiversum brings the idea of partition tolerance to databases on the blockchain.
Usually, the problem with ICOs is the fear of people thinking "will they actually follow up on these ideas?", or the commitment of the team to the project. To me, pick teams that are transparent on social media resume sites etc and this wont be a big of a problem.

The perfect would be to combine both. BTC is the most stable cryptocurrency out there so it's less risky, but if you are looking for bigger and faster gains you should consider investing in an ICO. The problem is that more than 90% of the ICOs are either a scam or ar runned by unprepared people. You should spend a lot of time reading and researching before investing in an ICO and you should look for things such as the team, the project itself, the competition, the roadmap etc in order to find an ICO with future.

I suggest if you do not dare to take risks you can invest in Bitcoin but if you are ready with risk then you can try investing in ICO, It's simple dude |

As for a newcomer I would suggest BTC, not ICO. ICO can give better money raise but they are more risky |

I don't really like an idea to buy Bitcoin. It's possible now to buy tokens that can go 100x in a few months, so why not? For example, have you seen what happenwd with Pundi X, for example?

Buy bitcoin as much as possible if you don't have a time to do a research on ICO
because ICO invetments is risky for everyone if they don't have good knowledge about new project
ico investment must be understood. indeed a big risk behind it. we should be able to do well in choosing ico. but true as you say. buying bitcoin is a safe solution Buying Bitcoin is a safer solution, but does not offer 10x-100x in return. Investing in good ICO can deliver very big profit. Yes, it is risky, but that depends of the strategy we use and what our goals are. |

I think it's a very simple choice. for example you have limited funds, if you want to get an instant profit then ICO investment is her choice, but must be able to know before which project will succeed. You can buy and invest in ICO but if you are new in crypto you need to know about you want to enter like investing in ICO because it's very risky. Yes you can buy bitcoin and you can hold as long as you want bitcoin is proven that it will give you a good earnings. |

In my opinion, the capital will be invested in BTC, which is the most stable coin and they will give you the highest profit possible, so do not go looking for ICO projects, because of poor quality ICO And fraud is happening all over the market, we do not distinguish them all, so it is easy to mistake the investment in fraud ICo is losing all capital. |

Why choose one if you can always do both of them? Am i right? Ico investment are good because they offer bonus and cheap coins which means you can buy lots of them at a verry good rates although you only need to wait about two to three months before you can sell them because they arent getting any value until their ico has been finished or the coin will get listed on any online exchange.
Buying btc is already proven and tested to be a good habit because every one knows that bitcoin has a potential to increase despite of its major drops these past months .

In my opinion, bitcoin has a really stable price accordig to many other coins and tokens. Of course some ICOs might bring better profits, but I think a trader never underestimate the power of bitcoin. Good luck! |

I suggest do your own search first how bitcoin works and how ICO works here in crypto world then ask some opinions of experts and for sure you will know the answer to this questions. There are always some good ICOs out there, you just have to do your own diligent research. ICOs is how you get the big returns, it's a high risk high reward play.
and most important thing is dont buy ico whiles tge still run, because more cheaper if you buy until it reach market, this is my experience  Of course, many people are attracted to his company because the developers offer good bonuses during the sale of Tokin. The only problem for the investor, It really is to find a really promising project, so that the profit is guaranteed. I do not see a good prospect for investing in ICO, looks like gambling and bonuses are not a guarantee for profit. at start of ICO looks promising but after Token sold token is very disappointing need some patience to get a decent price. Well, there are a lot of trust issues while investing in an ICO as it is quite risky. But if the idea behind the project is strong with a good team of past experience then do invest in it. However, 80% of the ICO's these days are scams and frauds so it one must be quite cautious while selecting the ICO. As the ICO offers a lot of bonuses and extra opportunities at the initial stage or the pre-sale, so it'll be of a great advantage to invest early in it and if the ICO successes, the deal would be quite profiting... Investing in ICO is little riskier as there are so many projects which are scam and that investing in such kind of projects will only result in loss of money. If you think you have found the right ICO project, only then you should go for it. Otherwise, it is better to play safe game and that go for investing your money into ETH as it can then help you in having more earning at the end of the day. |

i prefer to take coins after they enter a market. i lost lots of eths because of these shit coins. i gave 3 eth for an ico. not its value is 0.3 eth. because of this silly projects i am waiting for their market entrance |
