Invest in BTC is better than invest in ICO. Where you have a stable market leading coin, then why you will go for a new, unknown coin? Spo, I prefer to invest in BTC, ETH, and other stable coins. Sometimes, if you want to promote a new idea in blockchain with making money then you can invest in ICO too. Everything is helpful for the blockchain technology.

Both are investing is profitable but need to choose one of them where do you prepare to invest or you can choose both if you have enough investment capital, but i will suggest to before getting involved to invest gerein crypto need to get a lot of skills and knowledge to avoid loses of your money. But for now, invest in BTC is more profitable than any of ICO's. When ICO project ends most of them are released on below ICO price. So, it would be good to sell half of our altcoins and get some BTC. |

I'd agree if you invest in these coins because Bitcoin is great for the long term. And I think you also will not suffer losses because of these coins are always undergoing growth. And there are still many people who are interested in entering the world of crypto because of Bitcoin. So you could be saving money on your Bitcoin.

You can actually do both because it is a very good idea if you are into multiple investment or what they call as diverse portfolio. ICO is good because when you invest during the presale or during the main sale, you can avail its bonuses. Volume is essential in investment because the greater the volume you get, the higher the chance of earning big profit when the token value spikes.
Each of that opportunity will bring you in advantages and disadvantages. They will bring their own risk and reward. Dont ever think too much about this. Now if you are wise person then split the money become 2 or more and you can buy bitcoin, ico product and maybe other exist altcoin. |

I don't think that right now is a good time to buy bitcoin because the price already increases higher than a few days ago and I think it's better to wait for a while and perhaps, we can choose to buy altcoin. in this time, it's better to sell the bitcoin to get the profit so we can use that money to buy the other altcoin which is down because of bitcoin price is increases.

Yes I also acknowledge that investment in ICO is very risky because if we choose wrong and it turns out ICO that we follow it scam then lost our money but there is an advantage if investment in ico besides we get bonus at the time of sale we can get big advantage if project it's a success. |

I think the good strategy right now is to buy BTC then convert it to altcoins when the prices of many altcoins join the bull run as the market seams like it is readying for it. If you would want to invest in an ICO you can also do that but just a remainder to invest in a good project with known developers and managers backed up with a strong community as many of it can be a scam and it is one of the most riskier investment in the crypto market.

Investing is an ICO nowadays is quite a risky job, too many scam projects that we can not distinguish which one is scam, moreover, at this time, BTC price is rising so much that altcoins can not catch up with and drop even lower than before, so investing in altocins is not a good idea at this moment, it would be better if we invest in BTC instead. |

i think both of your choice were good way to invest in cryptocurrency, but it still need for long term period of holding and be patient if you want take some profit and benefit from your investment. i really do not recommend buying BTC only for short term investment, since the risk of cryptocurrency market cant be predicted. if you participate with very legit and potential ICO i believe you will earn many profit from it. just be careful about some ICO, you have to do very proper research before investing your money.
