I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.

I now somehow expect a rise in the price of coins. Somehow lucky to sell at a good price some coins in two months, after they began to be sold. Now, the rest has also been held back, but they have fallen much the other way. Now I wait again, when they grow up to sell. Now I decided that I would immediately sell, so that I did not have to sit with them.

I think at this point the best option is to be very diversified and be in this for the long haul. Although there will be some quick gains , I do not believe that will be as prevalent as in the past.

Hey! All depends on coins you possess now and you want to sell. If coins have great potential to grow and you dont hope just for pump Grin i would set target and wait. That happened many times to me - i sold with losses and then market went up.

Mid to long term mostly but it really depends on your goals and actual portfolio, I'm thinking holding most of my assets for a period of 6 month to a year except if i need liquidity to reinvest in a more suitable option.

Anyway never sell with a loss unless you think the project is really dead, and you have proofs to back up your claims.

As we get closer to mass adoption unless you invested in really bad coins 2019/2020 should be a cool year for crypto.

I trade before but since my time doesn't suit for that kind of strategy I change it and go for my long term goal. But if you are planning to hold some coin for long term make sure that its a good coin for you not to loss big money in the long run. Setting your goal will help you decide on what strategy will your take, always make time for that.

I'm quite a lazy person for trading) So basically I keep coins for long.  Especially now - my coins and so in the red color after the decline bitcoin.  But it is advantageous for the growing market to combine strategies - and to hold for a long time and engage in trading.

My experience not trading. for long term, I hold Ethereum from the price of $ 400 and now it's doubled. Very satisfactory.
And for short term, from Ethereum I follow the reliable ICOs. Here I think, follow ICO from Daneel.io. Why Daneel Huh Because Daneel is a registered member of IBM Partnerworld.

And do not buy ICO coins with all the available capital. Buy some ICO coins. for example you have 1 ETH, buy 10 different ICO with 0.1 ETH capital every ICO.

It is necessary to evaluate objectively the potential of each coin. Otherwise, if you buy some dubious altcoin and wait for it to rise in price, you can simply lose your money.

It seems to me that everything depends on ISO and that it is not always a declared price on the output will grow if the company is good and it has a potential to invest and wait. For example, such coins as NEM, Iota, Strathis and others.

I chose a long time because I think it's safer to play for a long time so do not have to keep seeing the price every day. see the price once a week I think we can already profit  Grin

Not really always. You can't be sure your investment will be profited in a week.
For me, as long as it's a profit, i would sell it OP. If you gonna do something crazy, just hodl your token for long term (e.g more than 5 years)

Sometimes I do what you also did but sometimes I will always wait to make my money to have a higher profit to the price I expected to be when I buy it in a low price and sell it when my goal reached the price. Evem if it's too risky to qait more if your money have already a profit and you still wait more, even if yoi think that theres a big chance to dump the price and makes some losses.

Both has unique advantage. Each trader maintain their unique style which suited themselves. There are many routes to making profit in crypto. Usually I'm doing both but l have reserved some coins as long term basis.

I'm a long term trader but i can trade for short term too. Looking at the chart from all the market. Bitcoin has a big impact to altcoins so if you going to trade in short term it's not that profitable compare to a long term trader.

I tend to split my portfolio into varying degrees of risk and time scale I'm willing to wait. I'm long on bitcoin, eth, NEO. Short term I like zcash, eth classic. I think to be a short term trader you need to have the time to research to a very detailed standard. I think some basic ability to read charts is very beneficial to short term trading.

Patiently waiting for good price to sell. But usually I can not do that because it's so hard for new people like me. Make a profit in this market is not simple. It all depends on human psychology
