I do not decide this in one option, it all depends on how the market does its activities. A change of plan must exist as long as you hold your coin. As it is today the average altcoin price is very low. Of course even if you have a short-term plan, you will not sell your coin now.

It's hard to short-term these days. Prices just keeps falling. On these bear period, the only choice we have is doing long-term tradings. Then we'll get nice profits after the market is booming again.

That actually depends on the coin/token that I am holding but I am more on long term hodler due to the fact that I am only holding small amount of invesment I will set a target price whatever the amount of time will take I will surely sell it on my target but for those that I got in airdrop and some bounty once I see that it is pumping I will release it immediately.

As a general rule in trading you should let your winning trades run and cut your losses short. Personally I am long term on most of my coins. Just hodling and staking some of them as I currently don't have the time available to daytrade. But of course that you should always have clear profit-taking targets, as well as stop-losses.

I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your target price? Thanks.
if I prefer to buy when the price is down as what is happening right now, so I choose to buy and keep it for a long period, maybe if we choose short term, it may be called trading, when profit and up slightly from that before we buy we already sell it.

Once you invest in cryptocurrencies it is better to wait for long term. Short term will never give you the better profit. So don't hurry if you have coins please wait and hold it for long term. You know the market situation surely you can guess whether its going down or up. According to that we can decide hold or not. In my opinion holding long term will be the best rather than short term.

It all depends on my situation. If there are extra money - I invest in a long time. And so I work my bank in the short term.

If I prefer a long term. The vibrational nature of cryptography is very difficult to predict. Usually prices up and down are absolutely unpredictable.

The circumstances of the market changes, in the previous year it was very easy to make short term profits because all the market was going up in fact I could be surprised if anyone that was a short term trader lost any money since you could not ask for an easier market but now that the market is going down constantly making any profits right now is going to be really difficult even for experimented traders.

in conditions that are not possible as it is now very difficult to predict the price of coins that will rise, I think we should just wait patiently until the price really back to normal at least we return the capital

I think we must be both long term and short term. It really depends on the potential of the investment. My criteria of a good long term investment ICO is that: 1. It must be an existing business for a few years with a good model, and have even bigger feasible plans for the reason of doing an ICO. 2. Team composition and advisors are next that I look at, idea can be great but without a strong team, it wouldn't give me sufficient confidence that their plans can be executed without delays, that is if it's ever executed. 3. Next thing would be how unique their business plans are, I realised many ICOs are basically copying ideas from existing businesses, tweek abit and calling it theirs, hence it comes back to the point of why it must be a running business for at least a couple of years. To end off, I would like to invite long term, serious investors to have a good look at DirectHome. I have a long-term plan for mainstream coins like bitcoin and ETH. For altcoin, I usually do short - term plans. Because altcoin is very unstable. I will sell them to bitcoin or ETH as soon as they appear to go up rapidly.

I was also trading like you when i started investing in crypto, but it was hard to buy at the dip or look for altcoins bottom. Its a good idea to buy & sell partly, not all at once. So you can put several sell orders for your coin and try to get maximum profit selling it. Right now i'am doing more long term investments, because of more profit in perspective. Short term i find for me too risky at the moment.

I think, for now, it is better to do long-term investment especially for bitcoin and ethereum because the price is not good to sell but we could still buy that coin at a low price. for another altcoin, I think it still difficult to do short-term because we need to watch the price and make analyze for the coins so we can determine the price to buy and sell.

I chose both these short-term and long-term runs. I do not have a specific strategy. So if the price of coins has risen and exceeds the capital, surely I immediately sell if I really need it. But if the coins that I hold up, in the long run, are definitely I will use the long term.

For the situation like now, you better make a long-term investment. If you've been investing for a long time, even with the bitcoin price you're getting a lot of money right now. But if you are patient a bit to wait for the right time until the bitcoin price rises again, then the coins you have will be able to grow even bigger.

In the short term, I think that short-term gains are greater than long-term gains. Relatively, risks will be higher, so you need to carefully analyze the risks of each of your investments.

Until now, the course jumps, I often sell and buy coins. The difference is not big, of course, but you can earn a little and increase the number of coins. In the future I hope for greater growth and possibly selling all
