I think both short term thinking and long term thinking can be profitable. If you can figure out technical analysis and develop a good skill set you can make allot of money trading the volatility! Long term I am extremely bullish. I think crypto is a commodity which puts it in the store of value category and that is a humongous market

The plan for me is simple. Pay off my credit cards debts and the money I have investing in testing the water then keep hold of as many coins as I can!

I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your target price? Thanks.
I always prefer short term investment. I go with coins with high values like, Bitcoin, ETH, Maker, NEO and NEM. I just bought .040 bitcoin day before yesterday. Though i earn bitcoin from campaign every month, i still wanted to go for purchase as i had some money came from other source. I felt its the right time to purchase bitcoin as like other currencies. I always trust in bitcoin and obviously yes, bitcoin would certainly yield me more profits. Planning to buy more coins down the line. At the end of the day it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it, however unless you are a very good trader short term investment is not the best choice, the best choice is to hold your coins for as long as you can and that means that the best strategy that you can pick is to hold your coins for the long term I know that it can be very difficult especially if you need that money, but if you want to maximize your profits you will have to do it.

I will say i am a short term person gunning for a long term sty in the crypto world. One's just gotta take time to study the market, know when its safe to trade and when not and especially when u are making profits. This is what i lookout for to determine my long term stay.

For now, the course jumps, I often sell and buy coins. The difference is not big, of course, but you can earn a little and increase the number of coins. In the future I hope for greater growth and possibly selling all

If you check the bitcoin prices from the initial release until today, it's clear that the long term strategy is the winning one

Short term holding is like daily trading, it's risky and really complicated, so I prefer long term.
Not only short term trading is a lot more complex long term trading, the amount of stress that you will go through by day trading is enormous, many people are unable to cope with the pressure of such a job and they get sickness related to stress or they simply need to change the way they invest and in even in more extreme cases they stop trading altogether.

I am long term holder for BTC and Ethereum especially, because I believe that this coins have very promising potential and their prices will go up highly after few years. But I am trading the other coins and tokens daily almost for getting my weekly and monthly income.

I choose long term hold. Because, I have limited time on work and family and no experience to trade day or short. In fact, I would like to have enough time for the exploration and learning of the crypto market.

For someone who knows how to wait, bitcoin is always profitable. This does not change for deep-rooted projects. But I do not think the same thing for altcoins. They are affected by fluctuations very quickly.

Holding longterm is best and that is what I does, I only flip coins that lack group prospect which I bought mistakenly or from poor bounty campaign. Holding for longterm reduce the risk of selling while u`ve lost ur money without gain.

The biggest issue is that there is not a lot of people like that, many people think that they are able to hold for the long term but just look at what happened when the crash appeared out of nowhere, many people that thought that they could hold for years but as soon as they could they sold because they panicked when they saw the price crashing.

I prefer long term. I don't waste my time all day to follow the market. I think that time for read information, some book, read about whitepaper is better. Anyway, time for family, too.

I long term and short term. I truly believe in some of my altcoins. So i hold them for a long time up to now. Even their value goes down hard. I still hold them.

I have a long term investment and that is bitcoin but i do trading also for short term. I trade ethereum, dogecoin and ethereum clasic for a short term. I buy when the price down and sell when it increase even not my target price as long as i have a profit even a little. I just enjoyed doing this.
