Crypto may kill cash but it may take even up to the year 2050 or the year 2030 the earliest. Many people would use crypto in real world by 2020 and mass adoption may set in by 2025. I'm not sure if crypto can kill cash but I know banks will not let themselves be defeated by blockchain technologies. They're currently partnering with crypto so I'm sure FIAT is here to stay for upcoming years.
Cryptocurrencies will never kill cash. These are completely different currencies. I agree that cash will ever disappear. This will happen because electronic money is more technological. But even after that it will be Fiat currency. Cryptocurrency can only solve limited problems. Cryptocurrencies are not suitable for maintaining the economy.

I don't think cryptocurrency can kill cash. Cash is cash and crypto have values because there has cash. Virtually, crypto damn cares cash but practically you must care about cash. There is how the market goes up and down. If there is no cash, there will be no cryptos, unless you are talking about 200 years ahead.

Many Say Cryptocurrency Will Kill  Fiat Currency and Creating FUD all around the Internet, According to me if this statement is correct then CR.CARD Dr, Card has done this Long back, Cryptocurrency will be used by Smart people in future and many businesses will opt this for fast transaction

It's not easy to kill cash because still many people don't know and understand cryptocurrency and they will keep using Cash.

Whats your view about this

We all know, cryptocurrency is growing fast recently. However, to kill the cash, I think it may be difficult. For some countries, it may be found that cards have started to replace the cash, it means that probably cryptocurrency will then take place of the cards in some next future. However, for some other countries, many people still use cash for their daily transaction traditionally, it may need a long time to replace the condition in that country. Moreover, many people in this world still don't know exactly the cryptocurrencies. So, in my opinion, it will depend on where you live, how the transaction in your countries, and the wisdom of your government.

Actually this statement have a big relevant, that cryptocurrency would not replace and easily kill money, because many people all over the world did not understand the world cryptocurrency,if we make it percentage only 10% would understand the word of cryptocurrency, and 70% is not to understand and 20% is does not care  of  what is this digital currency system, because mostly some of countries especially those belong in the third world, is far from technolgy and they did not easily umderstand this word cryptocurrency.

This market will not completely supplant the dollar or other paper money, but will take a large market share and everyone will use coins, because it is fast and safe
Is it possible to use the crypto currency for buying goods faster and safer? In my opinion, pull out ordinary paper money from your wallet and pass it to the seller much quicker than to find out from the seller the address of his digital wallet, enter it into your phone or laptop, carry out a transaction and make sure that it happened. As for security, here, too, everything is not so simple. A mobile phone or laptop can also be stolen, like cash.
As for the question of cash currency being squeezed out by crypto currency, here I agree that the crypto currency will significantly supersede the circulation of fiat on the market, but they will not be able to replace them completely.

It will be impossible to replace completely cash with crypto, even in case of general acceptance.
More likely, you'll have the two systems working in the same time.
Then, who know, somewhere in the futur, when everyone will have a mobile (or a chip under the skin...) then there won't be need of cash anymore.

It will take hundred of years to terminate a fiat currency. Why? Fiat currency symbolizes a county's economy level and growth. If cryptocurrency will not be properly regulated, terminating a fiat currency is impossible. Trading bots are all over the market and a wise government knows that. We all don't wanted to get our fiat money value drops down by a manipulator right?

It's going to take a very long time, but I think cash will definitely die out eventually.

If not because of crypto, then probably because of payment terminals.

It's not everyday you hear or read something like this, this is awesomely big!  Grin
But I don't believe crypto can kill paper money in general, okay maybe 1 currency, but may very well be not all thanks to crpto - a synergistic effect perhaps.
It is just very impossible to do that, for several reasons.

That's going to take at least a hundred years or so, so I wouldn't worry about.

Unfortunately not gonna happen in our lifie times i think.

If the cryotocurrency can stay in this world for another 10 uear then there is chance for the 60%of fiat currency system will be replaced by the cryotocurrency system. But it can't completely kill cash because we need internet and computer or mobile to use our cryotocurrency but I don't think is is available in all corners of the world so the traditional money system can't be replaced fully by any other cashless system

I do not think so. Crypto created to use a coin in a certain area: banking, healthcare ... Each coin is born for a different purpose and cash will still exist for everyday trading.

Cryptocurrency will kill fiat currency, it will be true but it will take time because crypto currency need internet and computer for transaction. Whereas fiat currency does not need any modern aid. There will be simple solutions to transfer crypto after that we can think to replace Fiat currency with crypto.

Cash will eventually get killed by digital money, not necessarily bitcoin but all the governments across the world which have a good technology development starting to switch to digital money than using a rotten fiat "paper" money.
So basically in our life times, it could happen, technology developing so fast as you know, maybe a decade ahead, everything will be cashless, and we'll only need to use digital thing, it's good for environment and economical swell.

probably crytocurrency will kill cash, but in some years, maybe 10...
at the moment cash is being killed from credit card payments, but still takes time and only the advanced economies are taking this.
It will take some years, and in the meantime cryptocurrencies will grow and will become a natural way to make transactions..

Good point, actually it is really possible that cash be killed by cryptocurrency in the future. Yes it will take time to implement that crypto be as means of use in the future because of too many things to considered before it fake place. Thoug payment system online would be more well known in the future and be in demand.

Oh, no, it's just about politics: in Swedish they are just creating a cashless society (of course, centralized coin, not crypto) so it's very possible.
If you force people to have a bank account connect to a card, you'll have a cashless society in very short time.

The concept of money always evolved along the history, but everytime there was a major change, if always met a big resistance (think about when gold coin was replaced with paper money..)
So, even it's very possible from a technical point of view, there will need still a lot of time before a general replacement of cash with electronic money.
