You can probably publish ico links etc in your facebook profile, but as an advertisement there will be no more ico we can see on the facebook. I don't know why facebook made this decision in a short time.

Why Facebook Campaign no longer exists? Facebook campaigns are often good for promoting projects that make sales. It's very unreasonable if facebook campaigns are not there anymore. I am very disappointed if it really happened.

Facebook prohibits the advertising of cryptocurrencies and initial offers of currencies ("initial coin offerings" or ICOs), as well as services that "promote financial products and services frequently associated with deceptive promotional practices". Zuckerberg himself referred to cryptocurrencies and encryption as technologies that take power away from centralized systems and give it to users, although he considered that they came with certain risks that are difficult to control. Facebook represents those centralized systems that have the power, so it does not finish surprising its radical positioning either.

Last couple of weeks ago Facebook announce that, they will remove all page or groups about crypto currency from Facebook.
And i saw too many pages all ready deleted by them. Actually it's really unfortunate for all of project and ICo owners. I think they (Facebook) are not banning everyone.

Users of facebook arent restricted to share likes and promote these ICOs,and you should contact the bounty manager why did the bounty campaign for facebook was removed or closed, the common reasons why are somebody has cheated or most of the participants are using multiple accounts on the campaign because i have participated a lot of social media campaigns and that is based on my experience.

I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements. But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.

So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?

If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.

Never heard about such a problem, but if it happens so - there will be more interested people around signature\twitter campaign, can't say whether it is good or not...

Facebook campaigns are still okay, because the only thing that facebook restricts is accepting paid advertisments from these scammy ICOs,you should contact the bounty manager so you would know why did they removed the facebook campaign of yours, there should be a good explanation a lot of people are joining facebook campaigns that is why it is too hard to restrict that type of campaign.

Facebook banning crypto currency campaign doesn't necessarily mean that individuals can not advertise crypto currency related business activities on his/her personal profile.  Before the ban crypto currency related activities business owners usually pay Facebook company to run their campaign and that is the one that was banned by Facebook company and not advert done by individuals on their profile.

if i am not wrong, facebook only ban advertisement and not ban any post about it, actually so no need to stop facebook bounty campaign because we user only share and post something about ICO and not use advertisement service.

Really? I didn't know facebook did this. I'm sure everything could be done by somehow bending the rules of facebook advertising. But still, the shame on facebook for banning any advertisement that is not hateful.

Honestly whether they restrict it or not, good ICO's will always rise form the ashes lol. Did you guys see that Havven ICO raised more than Power Ledger for an Australian-based company?? https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2018/03/129035-record-breaking-havvens-crypto-blockchain-monetary-system-stablecoin-closes-90-minutes

They didn't use facebook and they still sold out in 90 minutes.

They aren't banning ICOs outright. It's all about how you frame your Ad. If you are spreading awareness on your tech or company and not advertising the ICO event - you are in the clear. They are trying to prevent scammers from saying "invest money into this ICO and become rich", which is what most ICOs have devolved to.

Facebook says precisely & clearly it bans financial products / services promoters to use Facebook ads program ( including ICOs, cryptocurrencies, and binary options ) .
It says it want that its users serf on that social platform with 0 scam risk .
So people are free to post about cryptos, ICOs or whatever since they don't use Facebook ads system .

Facebook is a totalitarian plattform, and you have nobody to discuss with.
So, it's true that they have banned only sponsored ads about ICO, if someone report you to a moderator, they'll block your account, and ot have it back is really difficult.
So, take care.

Well, if facebook banned advertising ICOs, there would be no point in making people advertise it as well since the trust regarding those crypto would just diminish since facebook already stopped conducting them.

yes, the facebook plan to ban ads about crypto will be done, but I do not know for sure, when it will happen. the reason facebook is to prevent fraud and also crime.

so if it has been signature by the owner of facebook, there will be no more facebook campaign.
