No more facebook campaigns?

I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements.But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.

So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?

If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.

There are still many ICOs that are having facebook adverstisement or facebook page. It is not directly banned all facebook ICO. What facebook is banning are those directly advertising ICo projects that are encouraging people to invest in ICO.

I heard about the facebook not allowing for ICOs promotion campaign in quite long but I am still doing the facebook campaign where the bounty campaign that I join still use facebook for their campaign. So, let's see what will happen next. Is facebook really not allow ICOs promotion permanently or there will be another rules by them in the future..

Facebook is not banning bounty on the platform. It only banned ICOs. You cab still do your bounty campaigns. I am currently doing one even.

Hi. FB Bounty is active. I've been participating in 3 FB Bounties. And I've had all stakes.

I want you to double check your bounty section because recently many bounties are closed their facebook bounties and mentioned in their OP too but many are not aware of still doing the weekly work so ask your manager to get clear idea about the facebook campaign is still running or not.

Yes, when advertising an ICO courses on Facebook, my ad sets weren't approved because facebook forbids all ads about cryptocurrency, ICO, bitcoin,... I dont know why it's hard for us to develop our project cause we've lost a profitable marketing channel.

personally i think that another advertising channel, such as google adwords or google display network, could be a good alternative, though the marketing cost on google's channels is not relatively cheap.

the same to me, I've had a warning from facebook teams, which informed me of their new policices: all advertisements about Initial coin offering and cryptocurrency will be prohibited from facebook feeds. But it's still free to build pages and content on this topic, you can gain organic traffic and engagement, however, i doubt it's not effective.

sadly, but it's confirmed. Facebook has a new advertising policy pertaining to cryptocurrency, binary options and initial coin offerings. The policy specifically prohibits ads that promote those types of products and services “that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive practices."

you may try writing advertising content without the word concerning ico or crypto and see if they will detect or not, but it's not in the longterm because your campaigns might be disapproved suddenly.

If an individual project stop facebook campaign that doesn't mean all facebook campaign has been cancelled.  I still post on facebook this morning and there is nothing happening to my previous post.  All the post of mine are still intact.

I can not finish figuring out if facebook has forbidden to distribute information about crypto-currencies, because today as I see people continue to post information that crypto-currencies are good and so on.

I agree that the more regulation has been put in motion. Zuckerberg has banned ICO advertising from his site but actually, there are still many campaigns circulating through the facebook. Mark cannot stop them all as much as he wants it.
I suspect that he has other interest because he is very greedy. If the ICO campaigns would benefit him he would for sure make even more opportunities for the ICO developers but in this case, I actually don't have any nice words for the Mark.
I know that there are many scammy projects but if we look it that way then we will never see the right opportunity and the good project of the independent developers that have made a hard work getting to the point of the starting demand.

That news was just a propaganda. There was no official announcement like that. The reason why facebook delete most ico information is because some bounty hunters post too many advert at a time.

the banned ad about crypto to my knowledge, so I think for something like ICO does not matter and can still be used in facebook. It does not matter in my opinion because it is not intrusive and thus very helpful.

Yes they recognize that the policy is quite broad, but he says that’s intentional. The plan is to continue working to better detect deceptive and misleading ads that pertain to cryptocurrencies, ICOs and binary options.

Concerning the prohibition policies of Facebook, I suggest that you all should not take a bounty, which ask you to add the hashtags to posts. There is the similar situation with it. The most popular of them are also easily tracked by Facebook, with the posts / reposts containing them happens the same — the ban.

Before the announcement of the ban, Facebook began to form a black list of companies and campaigns for advertising crypto. It includes links to company websites and ICO, to groups in Telegram, to blogs in Medium and to Facebook pages. Any posts / reposts containing these links are blocked. That is, you made a publication, copied / saved the link for the report, and an hour later it was already broken, there are no publication anymore.
