Holding is bullshit?

I am sure that holding in the long run brings excellent dividends, but the choice of coins should be approached with a greater mind than TS.

Hodling is not bullshit. It all depends on what you're hodling and your reasons. Some persons decide to hodl once a coin dumps on them and with the recent longer bear run experienced, some coins might no return to where the hodl started.
Hodling is good and fun when you have a good entry and have set your hodl target.

In this case it is very difficult to guess because almost everything depends on what kind of coins you hold, so there are  not really perspective one.

I dunno was looking at html at some stage. There was a few things I liked about it but was a while ago but you are holding for 5 years? 5 years is like a lifetime in crypto. Why did you no spread your money around more? Blockchain and protocol all the hype lately. So I would first look at wan man zil rhoc EOS Neo and so on. Then at some stage the use cases might be the best play like wabi, walton, factom, horizon state, oyster pearl and so on.

Then with verge you have a coin that got massively pumped already. They have partnered with a porn website and it makes some kind of sense. If they reach mass adoption that way the potential upside is hard to guess but my crazy French colleague who has been predicting 5 USD for verge for months already might be right after all.

So much going on. Why did you buy these 3? What did your research say and what got you into those? Check if those reasons still valid. But honestly if you are in the game for 5 years and not rich by now you have a lot of catching up to do. Either blockchain is not your game or you have to start doing some serious research. Crazy as it sounds the market is still super young.

P.S. How on earth could you completely miss Ethereum and Neo???

The advice is obvious, try to hold another trusted tokens, try to hold many different tokens, and when you will see one is goiung up, maybe buy some more

I think it's basically because your coin is not a good coin either. I would suggest you focus on better coins. Don't invest or hold unto bad coins. There are better coins in which you can hold on to. I think it's best you sell it off and invest in better coins.

Holding is not bullshit because you can really earn profit if you will just hold your coins for a very long time and there are coins that are existing in the market that is really good for long term investment so do not lose hope on cryptocurrency.

Holding will depend on your strategy, however for crypto market, I suggest that you choose your entry point and exit point, since both will be crucial. If you think that the coin you're holding a good coin and will give you more profit than others, keep holding it, and make sure that your exit point is that high enough to give you that profit you want, however, a selection of a bad coin will really give you a loss, however there is way in which holding can give a huge profit, there are some who are buying coins that are worth  at least 1 satoshis, they will buy like 1M coins, then wait till it rises and sell it even a 2 satoshis per coin or even higher, in any case, you will gain more profit, but in this scenario, make sure that the coin you are holding is not a dead coin, always make sure that there is an update from the devs, so you can hold it even for a long period of time. The bad side of holding coins for a long time, is that you are missing out the trend of the coin if it had reached ATH or or not, just always update yourself and do not buy because of the hype.

I know just one thing - when i am holding a coin for a long time and then decide to sell it - next day or next week it will skyrocket. So, for now i am very careful with such things, but of course some coins, which i am holding more dead then live.

There are a lot of examples when projects were given by Xs after a while. For example, there was a project, I do not remember the name, there were tokens for subscribing to news, after that You could get about 1000$ for this only.

My suggestion is that you've choosen coins without potential. Another point is that your portfolio is so small. Select like 8-15 assets and you will see result. Also I've never heard about coins you hold

It is not a hogwash, the reason for which you hold because you think that the coin has a potential, and you know that she can reach higher price in the future if you have missed an opportunity or if the price wasn't such as you expect, then it is your fault because you have chosen the wrong token or a coin.

You should be glad they are not dumping. That instead of dumping, they remain the same. My advise is, even if they are not pumping now, you can try as much as possible to hold what you presently have. It might get to a point where some of them will pump so well. You can as well try to research well, before buying any coin.

I think holding it's not a bad idea, actually it depends on the coins that you're holding, personally I'm satisfy from holding my coins and I'm always keep my rewards until the development of the project.

Holding it is good, if you have time and patience, to be successful hodling you have to pick good coins, shit projects won't give you anything. Hodling is an investment, so to do that you have to learn and study the project and the market, as it could take time to profit from that investment. If the idea is to invest to make a quick profit, the best is to start learning how to trade.

Holding a coin is not bullshit. It's just an act of waiting on the coin to yield more profit. If a price of a coin is low ,i think holding the coin is the best option instead of selling it at a low rate.

you better sell the coin and buy another coin that is able to grow. because if you hold it, the results remain the same. so do not waste your time on unfavorable coins.
