I think Holding is not bad, It is not a bullshit. I guess it can help really do help for us to learn on how to become indepent and for us on how to become great. We all know that holding crypto currency is taking risk, yes qe must take risk but it is great for us to learn on how to be patient and for us to learn our lesson.

This hold of coins does not work only when you select very bad tokens and you are lucky that you have not lost your money for all this time, you need to choose projects with a potential and a strong team.

It doesn't mean holding coins is bullshit. Holding your coins in cryptocurrencies investment is a good kind of stragety in getting a big amount of profits. Because holding is waiting the right time to sell your coins in a very high price value. But maybe you say holding is bullshit because you choose a shity coins.

I agree that not all coins should be retained and expected to grow from them. Some coins or tokens are not able to grow in price, because they are simply unpromising. In order to keep coins or tokens, you need to know their history of creation or release. If their project is still developing, then such coins or tokens should be retained. However, there are those that have long been not supported by their teams and have actually turned into useless icons. They just need to get rid of. How not regrettable, but this is the feature of digital currencies.

I dunno was looking at html at some stage. There was a few things I liked about it but was a while ago but you are holding for 5 years? 5 years is like a lifetime in crypto. Why did you no spread your money around more? Blockchain and protocol all the hype lately. So I would first look at wan man zil rhoc EOS Neo and so on. Then at some stage the use cases might be the best play like wabi, walton, factom, horizon state, oyster pearl and so on.

Then with verge you have a coin that got massively pumped already. They have partnered with a porn website and it makes some kind of sense. If they reach mass adoption that way the potential upside is hard to guess but my crazy French colleague who has been predicting 5 USD for verge for months already might be right after all.

So much going on. Why did you buy these 3? What did your research say and what got you into those? Check if those reasons still valid. But honestly if you are in the game for 5 years and not rich by now you have a lot of catching up to do. Either blockchain is not your game or you have to start doing some serious research. Crazy as it sounds the market is still super young.

P.S. How on earth could you completely miss Ethereum and Neo???

Some excellent advice there. Just another note on Verge. I was supriced that Pornhub is not picking a fresher or more whitespread coin instead this Dogefork. For Verge this is big news and should have sent the price soaring which it did not. Apparently not many are aware how big this deal is. Does anyone have a clue how many visitors Pornhub has?

Holding is bullshit only when you are holding a shit. But when you are holding a good stuff then it will give you a great return. If its a shit, throw away as soon as possible.

In certain situations it is worth to hold the coins, in other contrast there is a sense of short trading. I think there are no magic tips, it all depends on your goals.

With such pennies, I think you will never go to the moon. You should choose the good altcoin in the list of 100 altcoin.

Why holding is bulshit? I dont think its 100% true because for me any strategy is still good.
So holding can help us to grow money but make sure we buy the coin in low price. Use technical analysis is enough to use as reference.

Holding is great when you have nice coins "A" and the coins with big idea and products. The other coins that I call "B" coins are very good for speculations or mid term, long term positions. The other staff like you have that is "C" coins. These are coins are very close to be scam so I recommend you to sell it because in 10 years you will make the same thread Grin Wink

Sometimes if we hold our token it will come into a year to wait it was too hard to wait for that so that's why i'm selling some of my coins because i don't want to wait a year and the price are still they same.

Holding is the most common strategy used by investors in this industry , some of them became successful using that method . So I don't think that holding is bullshit , maybe you just picked a wrong coin to invest with.

I suggest you to sell your current coin and invest to another coin that has a great potential . Holding is a great strategy but be wise enough to know which coin you should hold and which is not .

Holding is the most basic and safest way for novice in the crypto, I recommend this strategy, because not all people can be traders and spend much time on graphs.

Actually in my own opinion. Holding strategy is good only if you have small amount of holdings of the coins. And firstly, never put your trust easily to this hype coin project claiming to be the best there. Be silly in selecting your coin. Anywhere between 60 million-150 million is a good circulating supply for any cryptocurrency as you can read here https://medium.com/@reviewcryptos/less-is-more-in-crypto-why-circulating-supply-matters-bcb328f06991.

I think you already have a lot of knowledge and extensive experience about involvement in crypto investment. we can see that there are many high value altcoins after running for 1-3 years. so I think you are out of luck over your choice of investing in some altcoin.
