It looks to me like the heatsinks are too thick to be able to fill all slots on most USB hubs.

The heatsink has a thickness of 10 mm. I
have a USB hub here with 16 mm slot pitch,
so there should be no problem.

Are these using 2.5 watts type of USB or new USB 3 or 4 or whatever that can crank way more power at them?
The hardware has different solder jumper options. They can be made for 2.5W level, and I've gotten close to 4 GH/sec that way. But I expect most people would prefer to use a bit more power, and stick them in a powered hub.

The 2.5W/4GH setting can still be useful though. It's a nice introduction to bitcoins and bitcoin mining that doesn't require any additional investments or setups.

It looks to me like the heatsinks are too thick to be able to fill all slots on most USB hubs.

Highly doubt they designed these to not work in hubs.

You've misunderstood the meaning of my post. Let's say you have a hub with 10 Erupters in it, because of the thick heatsinks you can only get 5 of these devices in the same hub... just like the Red Fury sticks.

The heatsink has a thickness of 10 mm. I
have a USB hub here with 16 mm slot pitch,
so there should be no problem.

About pricing, for now we can only repeat what is in OP:
Quote
Price and shipping details will be announced right on time, as for now we are negotiating shipping quotes with different companies.

Q1 of 2014?  That makes no sense.  You guys could make a lot more coin/$ getting thing hashing quicker.
When are they expected to come ?

This information is also statement in OP:
Quote
1-5.11.2013 - Projected time when we will accept orders, and ship miners immediately.

I think it's high time someone started making hub specifically for this...

there are hubs that can do this.  gearmo makes one

you can put a better psu brick and you would have a good setup.  these are nice units.
