Hello, i am newbie and want to know how i could check projects if they are good or bad, is there ways to know about that?

Making such predictions and analysis is a hard nut to crack .  We can never actually come to know about a good project . The secret lies in the team . If the team has experiences and well named devs and managers there is a less risk of getting encountered by scams .
Moreover also study the websites and social media for that purpose , that would solve many queries about a project's genuinity . All scam projects makes some over the top fake promises of its price . So that might be a fair indication of a spam.

We need to carefully study the project itself
you can search some good feedback on their sites such telegram, twitter,  or on other websites, you will read some comments or feedback from the crowd, depending on your luck.

There are several things that cause SCAM in cryptocurrencies project. such as the unclear project, the purpose of fundraising done by developers and teams is not clear and seemed to hide. Usually this is clearly stated in the Whitepaper. and it is actually difficult to know which scam or no other inexperienced project in this world of cryptocurrencies and who can teach about all of this is your own experience. yeah you also know if there is a proverb says experience is the best teacher. so, you have to find a lots of information and and ask something about cryptocurrencies that you do not know in this forum.

Do you want to invest or participate in a company bounty? There are sites where you can follow the projects, where they put ratings,, etc. one of them is icodrops.com. Also, when selecting a project, you need to pay attention to the manager who leads the project and to his previous experience. This information is also available on the forum, just give it time.

There are some obvious signs: the organisation offering the ICO is not regulated by the appropriate financial authority, they fail to disclose the things that are mandatory in their jurisdiction, or even more basic stuff like the company address listed is fake (Google streetview is useful here) .
or better make a research on google on how to Avoid Scam ICO. its very important that you are knowledgeable on choosing Good ICO.

The truth is you will never know until it became scam. Even a project looks legit, it is still not sure if this are a reliable project. Many new ICO are just after the money of investors. Better buy if the coin is already in the exchange.

It is really hard to find which ico project is a scam. I think the best option is reading opinion other people, because even the best-looking design can be a scam

I usually do something like that by reading wesite and things on the project after I understand the policy that will be done by the project and I am usually interested in the project is not a scam.

what kind of project do you mean, bounty program or airdrop?
if bounty, it is difficult to distinguish between a good bounty and a bad one, but obviously bounty is bad if it does not have a clear website and whitepapper.
if the airdrop, usually the bad airdrop, should share their twitter link, and ask our private key. if it's like that means it's a bad airdrop.

We can identify the scam ICOs by reading their whitepaper if it is unclear or copied from any other projects then it is scam but it is hard for the newbie to understand the newbie so you need to go to their ANN thead and where you can get the feedbacks and suggestions about the projects.

to see if a project is good or not, I usually first check out some important things related to this project, including the development team and the business plan (road map) of the project.

Hello, i am newbie and want to know how i could check projects if they are good or bad, is there ways to know about that?

Indeed a difficult question, now many fraudulent projects but the way is very professional; Anyhow, the project strategy, the development team and the prestige people are the points that make us more secure.

Scams are all around us, in banking, finance, energetics and also crypto is not exempted from it. The best way to know if the project is a scam or not is to do background check, look for the team up, check advisors, token status, reviews, and most importantly the legal side.

We can't really know that for sure. There are a lot of topics here about that but everyone is agreeable that it is so hard to determine legit and successful ICO. Maybe a little bit more research about the project can help you, but there is really no assurance.

I do not think you can understand such a thing in advance, you can only rely on researches and experience to see if this project has the potential or not. Then you just have to wait and see what happens.  Huh

I'm sure I don't need to repeat what many above have already said...
According to statistics, about 90% of the coins are losing their value after the ICO.  That is why it is very important to filter out the bad ones from the good ones. Get a complete information about the product, team, work progress, future business plans and legal authority of ICO before investing. Just do you own research and don't rely on peoples opinions.

It's pretty simple to recognize scam now. First of all idea and project must be not too complicated and be promising, after that you should chek out team and advisors, do some researches about them and their work before. And of course you should ask your friend's opinions. Good luck to you.

you need to research alot for it

1- Easiest way to tell is the team: If the team members are respectable veterans in the space, then you can bet the project will fly even if for a short period of time after the ICO

2- Project itself: Most projects out there are vaporware. Read the whitepaper: First of all, you need to understand how blockchain works, then looking at the whitepaper see if the project idea would benefit from the blockchain technology, or if it is a new blockchain project, try to find out what will set them apart from other blockchain technology that already exist and are working great already

3- Best to invest in fields you understand. You're less likely to get scammed reading a whitepaper of a project in your field of expertise. Some of them can be technical, and you understanding the technical aspect of it, you will be able to tell if it is legit, or just a pile of fancy BS.

Good luck, and try not to get scammed!

You never 100% know that some project is not scam but it is your obligation to spend time and conduct due diligence to make the best possible decision: read whitepaper, visit project web site and study all available materials, pay special attention to project team, use web search to check key facts and figures, etc. The more efforts you devote that, the more chance that you will not invest your money in some obvious fraud.
