Like all of you, we are not satisfied with the delay and have decided to do something about it. We refuse to allow the investments of batch 1 customers to be anything other than a success. We want to reward you for putting your faith in us, especially considering batch 1 hasn’t turned out how we all hoped it would turn out last year when we started. We want to rectify this situation, as well as learn from batch 1 going forward.
I assume they will be telling us how they are rectifying the situation that they have no miners and will not be shipping tomorrow below. I'm also gonna assume they will tell us what they learned from this experience and n00b management of a manufacturing company. OOOOOOh!!! I can't wait!!!It should be noted that this delay was out of our control, and we were only able to provide an update to customers after we had received feedback from third parties.
Nice we are going to start by blaming all the third parties. Well screw Drexel and Global Foundries. Those bridges are already burnt. Let's just bomb them for good measure so we can never re establish relationships with them. ASIC design and manufacturing plants are a dime a dozen. After obtaining this information, we were able to give a definitive statement as to the extent of the delay. The issues causing the delay did not occur overnight; they were a series of events that we tried to resolve and had to investigate first.
It was a gradual destructive process. My guess is it spanned over months. That explains the two directors of this family operated business just walking away so quickly. Things blow up so the books are farked. No point in trying to maintain them after the debacle starts.What I like is how this open and transparent ethical company decided to not tell anyone about what was going on over the series of events. Maybe the word transparent means something different int he Queens English. You know like chips. We call them fries.
Only after we were sure of the impact on delivery did we release an announcement (We had to be 100% certain as this was news that will negatively impact us as a company).

Our NEW NEW terms are that if you don't pay the remaining 70% now not only do you not get shared but we are just shutting you down. No credit card processor when we are ready to ship. No more false promises. We are just taking the money and running...
Oh and I like how they added that they were completely open with these terms from the start. You know, they never changed the terms after all. Just so you know we will reinforce it with that statement so drill it into you just in case you have doubt and what to start looking for the old terms.This is a course that many want and have been calling for with these types of projects. Not just with ASIC companies taking pre-orders, but it can even be seen in other industries with the advent of Kickstarter and similar projects. A great example of how it should not be done being Facebook buying Oculus for $2 Billion and those original backers naturally not receiving a dime of that money. Many have called for this fair approach and yet companies don’t answer simply because they don’t have to. People fund them regardless, as has been the case with us, and yet here we are offering this to you in order to prove our commitment to you. Most companies would have taken, and unfortunately have, taken the other road.
So to prove that what we are doing is ethical we are going to cite some recent events in the news that are no wheres near related to what we are doing but you aren't going to actually do the research so you are jsut going to accept what we are saying from this presentation of false expertise.
Most companies would have just take your preorder money and given you no stake in their company. I know of one company in particular as an example was this ASIC manufacturer that was designing their ASIC since May 2013 they was never going to give up shares of its company to the commoner customer. They only did it as a last resort when the company was going to fold after they farked up their chip production. You see we are not like THAT companyWe’ve seen and spoken to people in the Bitcoin market whose companies started just like ours: obtaining their investments from first batches, but contrary to us would then proceed with becoming rich enough to simply mine themselves, while not caring about the people who got them started in the first place; only for dominating the market alone. What this shareholding effectively does, is make our customers an integral part of Alpha Technology by being partial owners of the company.
I'm waiting for the edit when they add the disclaimer to that last statement. Does part owner mean completely open books. Do all part owners get voting rights? Do part owners get to sell their shares in the company?This ensures that, no matter what happens, all of our batch 1 customers WILL get ROI one way or another as long as we are in business*
And there it is. DISCLAIMER!!!!! as you will have full right over issues of dividends forever. Considering how we have survived and thrived, despite the madness that has been batch 1, the odds are very much on our side, most would have broken under this pressure and looking for their first way out and yet here we are as such rest assured we plan to be in this business for the long term. You will also of course be given your say in decisions made by our company, by way of discussions and votes on our forum. We will in fact be having a vote on our forum very soon in regards to this issue, to see if most of you feel the same way as we do: and whether or not you are happy to proceed with this. So how are they going to do this?? If they are REALLY open and transparent it will be a poll that is publicly view able but only customers can vote on. IN FACT if they were REALLY ETHICAL they would put it in the hands of a third party that would manage the poll so that Alpah Technology can't pad the numbers. After all WTF does it matter if you vote or not. IF the cronneys at A-T want this to happen it doesn't matter if all of you are for it or against it. A-T will just make it look like everyone is in favor. Look SADDAM Akram got 99.9% of the vote for the distribution of shares!!!!! All hail the loving dictator!!!!If it is positive, we will put this proposition into practice and commence with all the legal paperwork. This proposition is something no other company in the crypto-currency industry has ever done before,
because it is STUPID and only exemplifies your incompetence. despite past and present problems and complaints with delays in their projects. We want to overcome this and give our customers something back for their faith and patience.
As long as you allow us to change the terms of the agreement so that we do not have to have a prototype before asking for 70% and do not have to ship 8-10 weeks after we asked for the remaining 70% because we are FARKed if that is the case.
Under the current circumstances, this is the best solution for all. If we were to increase hashrates further: it would push back shipping from September, and everyone will complain again asking for increased hash rates for this first batch, and as a consequence: this cycle would continue as we would have to redesign the miners over and over again, which wouldn't help anyone. Not to mention that it would be an exhaustive, inefficient and unrealistic waste of funds.
Trust us we figured this out. Don't mind we do not have any supportive evidence of this. Just believe us. Have FAITH. What we outlined is the ONLY option. Take it or you get NOOOOOOOTTTTTTTHHHHHHIIIIINNNNNGGG!!!!!! We aren't threatening you. We are only suggesting a single course of action that we say is the only option where we don't take all your money and you get nothing to show for it. But its your choice.
We have done all we can and more than we needed to for batch 1 and we hope this does not go unnoticed by you. The same can be said for a discount; we’re sharing but, and sorry if this is too candid, we’re not stupid. Also, if we were to offer cloud hashing to customers, it would take a tremendous amount of time and effort to set up and have it running efficiently. On top of that, the hashing would only be temporary until it was not viable anymore; and we sincerely doubt you would be pleased with that. Cloud hashing is being explored, but not given any priority at this time. Another suggestion from customers was to ship extra miners for free from cancelled orders, this also is not viable as there wouldn't be enough miners to give everyone the extra miner.
Oh and all the other ideas the customers had. Yaeah they are crap too. No when we SAY you have ONE options we really mean ONE option. We are ready to tank the entire company if you don't pick the "recommendation" we presented. We will not entertain and details surrounding the other options. Again. PICK THE OPTION WE PRESENTED WHEN THE VOTE IS UP!!!!!1There will however be cancelled orders,
Like we said we are going to terminate a bunch of clients funds and keep the funds and not deliver on then against the original terms and conditions. So we are going to make those miners available to YOU. Yes YOU!!!and one possibility with this proposition is to set up our own mining operation immediately after shipment. Of course you will receive profits from this, proportioned to your share with the company, or we may simply just sell the miners. In any case: we will discuss all of this with you and you will profit either way.
And we have many more pipe dreams if you vote the RIGHT way. The ONLY way.We have secured key contacts in this industry, and hold a big advantage over any other crypto-currency company out there; this is a fact.

Yes this shows you are highly valued. Not that we failed to delivery your miners on time. Not that we did not show you a prototype before we asked for funds, not they we hid all the problems that happened over the last 2 months. Not the part where we banned a bunch of you. Not any of that. This.... this part is where we show you your are valuable to us. and that we are truly in this market for the long term. We genuinely care about our customers and we want to actively help you not only making money from this industry but also, hopefully, contribute to it. In order to secure your loyalty, we increased the hashrate to 90Mh/s which is fair enough, then we took final payment at 90 (if we were any other company: chances are we would have and could have stopped at this point, that is a fact.), we then decided to increase to 250Mh/s despite the fact we didn't need to. We delayed and despite the fact our terms give us leeway in this: for the sake and in the interests of our customers we still decided to go yet another step further by giving you shares of our company for the rest of its existence without the need for you to spend an extra penny or work for us hence there is no catch this is technically something for nothing in so far as what we are legally obliged to provide you (although, in this situation: it would only make sense to purchase your future units from your company, as you will receive profits back similar to a discount. It would also make sense to contribute to the company as much as you can in whatever capacity you can; as you would be directly helping yourself). All this on top of free shipping for batch 2 and 10% off any future batch of your choice; this is an unprecedented level of customer service.
