An RFID ro NFC tag is present in many everyday things you might use..it is a small chip embedded in credit cards, your passport, a bracelet you might use for entry to clubs or at disney rides, on the metro or bus using a smart card to pay for things and so much more. NFC tags are the same as RFID in the way they can work. Each device out there has a unique ID.

A number of phones come built with NFC, which allows the phone to be used as an RFID reader - so if you touch one of the above items to the back of the phone, it will read the number - if course it needs some kind of app to show the number and do something with it, otherwise the phone will beep.

in our app, as in many of our apps we are working on, it will read the number and ask to connect to your online Tagbond ID number (either as a personal, business or a tagvert). Then you can use it with anyone else that has one of our apps, which can be to pay someone, or charge someone or just to add contacts like in our main Tagbond app. It can also be used to join a membership and rewards program, can be used for entry in nightclubs, gyms and so much more. It's just a faster way to do stuff than getting someone to search for your ID number and in some cases can be used without someone present (like for entry systems) - All of these things you can do right now within Tagbond. I am just testing and getting the info out - I can see when your account as an RFID number attached to it. So if you can do that then I will give you 5 TAG reward. Spread the word and tehy can earn some rewards as well. And if you don't have an RFID card you can always buy one..we sell them on Tagbond for around $2.50 for a silicon bracelet - and if you want to sell those we can give oyu a discount and ship them out in quantity..Wink

Took out my public transport card and swiped it alongside my phone. Yes, it has an nfc tag and the tag cash app (Android) asked me to confirm an ID. Registered as personal with my Tag ID.

If I understand correctly, I can give other people my tag ID now by means of my public transport card. No need for a separate card or flashing out my phone.

I look forward to save up on Tags at my local supermarket  Tongue

Yes..just a small bug, but it did require we take it down for a couple days..Smiley... But we will fix it by Monday or sooner...

@ Wekkel - yep, saw your rfid and sent you 5 TAG reward - you are the first person to use that feature outside of the office here..Smiley - and yes, that's the idea, you can use the card with anyone who has the app and device to read it.

We have a few apps in development - one is charging terminal very similar to that app(one for points and another for actual currency, crypto or fiat), only we restrict it to a merchant we verify, and a customer has to be a member of a community to get charged. The user has the choice of using a PIN number to confirm payment and a max spend per day...multiple levels of control - why a choice of PIN or not? - because we want to offer a micropayment system and entering a PIN every article you read or every video you want is annoying..

We have the main app that can be used (I have posted it on the main page), and this allows access as a member or a community to search for deals, add members to your community, see your points or rewards, pay people (but not charge, yet) and lots more. That also allows you to bind RFIDs or NFC tags to your account, your business or a deal. So a tag on a window can bring up a coupon deal directly, or lets you join a community so you can see their latest deals, tickets, rewards and so on. The QR codes do the same thing.

One thing we are hoping to see more of, is personal tagging..if you want to add someone to your network you just tap their bracelet or whatever tag they have and it asks to make a payment or add as a contact..we will see how that grows..

We have a couple more apps in development in alpha at the moment..one for entry access control and one just for data stored on the phone, no network needed (credits, time or access counts) - used for things like waterparks etc.

What is this sharing of an article about?

Edit: I registered another card with NFC but used the wrong ID.

Just calculate tag network hashrate is now 550MH/s and current diff is 65

So, do anyone know...is this correct:
with 110MH/s network, difficulty will be 130
and opposite way, with 55MH/s it will be 6,5

Or how diff rate acting?

Tagbond is a startup trying to change a few things in the membership and rewards sector. As part of the TagBond idea, we wanted to create a universal rewards currency that could be used everywhere and by everyone, and is specifically created with the rewards market in mind. A coin that itself would earn rewards. So we have created TagCoin.

About Tagbond and TagCash

Tagbond itself is a mixture of ideas from Multiply, Google Adsense, Groupon and Paypal. Anyone can create a community, and add marketing modules to promote on Tagbond itself, or via Facebook and other sites. These modules are called tagverts, which include coupons, prize draws, polls/surveys, mini shopping carts, loyalty cards, competitions and more. They can include rewards for the customer such as membership upgrades, points, real cash and crypto currency, and can include affiliate payments to anyone who wants to share them. RFID, NFC and QR codes are used throughout the system. Tagbond will help crypto to be used as a currency not just a commodity.

Alongside Tagbond.com we are creating TagCash.com which will be a payment platform offering fiat and crypto currency, featuring ewallets, currency conversion, merchant processing, micro payments and escrow.

Mobile applications are under development for all parts of the system, and there is a full API for anyone to integrate with mobile apps and websites.

Finally, we will be launching Tagcash.net which is a crypto exchange. We will be taking in most major currencies, and enable fiat/crypto trading pairs in most of them, including TagCoin. There will be no charges within the system - fees are $15 to deposit wire transfers and $25 to transfer out.

About The Developer

http://www.crunchbase.com/person/mark-vernon-2

All of these companies operate from Makati, Philippines, which is a major finance center in Asia. They are wholly owned by Mark Vernon, a veteran of internet business, who owns vtc.com (online software video training since 1996 and currently valued at around $15m USD), iplotz.com and eduslide.com. He is both startup founder and angel investor and is investing approximately $5m USD into the enterprise. The aim of the entire company is to be open and transparent, while also working with banks and central authorities to make this work.

Tagbond is registered with Fincen, and is working with the Bangko Sentral to become a licensed money issuer (which requires $2.5m paid up capital). Banking partners are Standard Chartered Bank and Union Bank. Tagbond and Tagcash will work with other partners as needed for licensing in Europe, USA and other countries.

About TagCoin

TagCoin will be the primary currency used within Tagbond and TagCash. We designed TagCoin with the following objectives in mind:

Fairness - Difficulty will start out at a reasonable value so no one can get an unfair advantage
Sustainability - Parameters have been chosen such that TagCoin can survive well into the future
Services - Tagbond and TagCash are just the start of the ecosystem that will we be building around TagCoin
Transparency - Open Conversation and discussion with the founders and staff within Tagbond

A little bit about the parameters we've chosen. 4 minutes between blocks is a happy medium between speed and sustainability. Faster coins will run into many problems down the line, the least of which is blockchain bloat. As we intend to support TagCoin for many years to come, these are big issues.

Subsidy reduction has been rethought. Halving every X amount of blocks, like Bitcoin, is very unnatural and "shocks" the market every halving. Accordingly, we've decided to introduce a more natural reduction formula for Tagcoin. The subsidy will reduce by 1% every 3 months for the life of the coin. Additionally, there is a minimum block reward of 3 set in place, as to always encourage mining. Sustaining mining solely on fees is problematic; Bitcoin will have to deal with this somewhere down the line, but Tagcoin will not. Less than 100 million coins will be generated in the first 30 years before this minimum block reward has been reached.

Twelve retargets per day with a maximum swing in either direction of 25% will ensure that difficulty never stalls due to multipool influence. Many coins have had to issue a hardfork for this, so we'll just address it right out of the gates.

Approximately 300 blocks have been premined for the purposes of giveaway and promotion through Tagbond, and TagCash, and this forum.

Starting difficulty of 0.5 was chosen to ensure a fair launch with no instamine.

UPDATE on TagCash Crypto Exchange

Making good progress, the Tagbond login details and the wallets have been connected to the exchange server, and the adding and withdrawing of crypto funds is working. 9 foreign currency accounts are offered with Standard Chartered Bank (USD, GBP, EUR, NZD, AUD, SGD, HKD, JPY AND PHP), and we will support DGC, XPM, PPC, LTC, TAG and BTC against BTC/LTC/TAG and against each of the 9 currencies

No fees for trading, deposits and withdrawals of crypto are free, wire deposits of fiat will be USD $15 and withdrawal is USD $25. We are also encouraging the use of crypto within the Tagbond rewards / merchant system as a currency of choice. Customers that deposit either Fiat or Crypto will be able to transfer to other members, use within Tagbond to give as rewards, or charge/pay for products and services offered by anyone using the platform. No merchant or transfer fees - a percentage of customer rewards is shared by Tagbond on 80/20 basis.

There will be limited crypto held in hot wallets on connected servers, most will be held in cold storage.

TagBond Ltd and TagCash Ltd are SEC companies registered in Makati, Philippines with fully paid up capital for TagCash Ltd at 100m Pesos (USD $2.4 million) - TagCash Ltd is also processing it's electronic money application and is expected to receive it within the next 60 days, not that it needs it for trading, but it is needed for local cash in and cash out operations in PHP. Deposits are ringfenced and any other operations do not impact on TagCash Ltd. By central bank regulations, all computerized balances must match funds on deposit and the Central Bank audits that on a regular basis. If anything untoward happens, TagCash funds by law have to be returned to owners.

TagCash will either obtain licensing in different countries/jurisdictions or work with EMI / MTL partners (including each state in the USA). Any interested parties please PM me.

TagCash is wholly owned by Mark Vernon, British Citizen, resident in Philippines.
