please help.

Delete everything in your tagcoin wallet.dat folder except the wallet.dat and tagcoin.conf file.  Add the line "addnode=tagmining.com" to your tagcoin.conf file and restart the wallet program.  You should resync fine.

Does anyone know what happened with the tagcoins that were automatically paid off during the fork?

I was on miningpool.co, and it's not updated yet, but the last automated payment didn't reach bter.com :/

Can anyone think which company might benefit from using TAG as a rewards coin and why... I will reward someone with the best idea..Wink - we are approaching companies here in Philippines but for USA, Europe, elsewhere thinking about which company would be a likely target...not too big, not too small...without a rewards system already..Wink

vtc.com will be one of the first giving out rewards based on signups - get 1 or 2 TAG for each month of subscription...and option to pay with TAG for a subscription...and in a month or so, ability to pay in mTAG for each movie lesson...

So ideally a company that can use it both as a rewards currency, as well as micro transactions which solve a problem for them..

Since TAG isn't mainstream yet, I'd suggest avoiding mainstream markets yet, that still has to be approached by BitCoin (and in my opinion that will be the next increase of the value of digital coins in general).

There's not a high current interest on buying TAG yet, only as investing or mining, since there's no trade for products services, so what maybe TAG could focus on is the future value.

Let's discard investor market, since they're already all into it.

Let's include people who can assign a future value for it, with little work/spending.

Where I'm getting with this... What about offering TAG as a reward for completing surveys? Companies are willing to pay top dollar for a good range of people filling forms about preferences and market segmentation. What if they could pay them a higher future price, at a lower current cost?

I think that's where TAG could fit in currently Wink.

My idea is from china online shops www.dx.com/ and www.buyincoins.com both company selling small electronic etc stuff from clothes to everything you need and dont need with really low price. Quality is not many times best but they delivery and prices is fast and good to europe also.

Second idea is www.iherb.com and www.vitacost.com both USA companys selling nutritional supplement and delivery to everywhere in world. Both offer already own rewards program where you get small price from customers what you invite so maybe they want offer that also in coins.

Last two i think is too big companies but maybe good to try never know Smiley

Third idea gaming company like www.innogames.com they have many small web browser games what is free to play but if you want use all features you need pay small prices $1-5 per month and can use so much money you want to get different features to your game. No have any reward program yet.

Any grocery store chain would be ideal.  Maybe Trader Joes.  The amount of coupons and advertisements these places deal with is crazy, and I think they would be an easy pitch for adopting TAG's tagvert system.

Starbucks coffee competitors... Pete's Coffee, Seattle's Best, etc.  Usually a trendier clientele that would be open to the adoption.  Not sure if they have a rewards system though, but usually lots of repeat, loyal customers.

I'm sure I'll come up with more.

I don't have specifics but the gaming industry sounds like a good start. Free to play operations would benefit from accepting TAG for upgrades and rewards. I think you might want to keep in the tech sector for now as crypto tech is still not widely understood.

That is an excellent idea.  Free MMO's (and others) with micro-transaction cash stores.  There are quite a few out there.  But, I would expect the first question to be "why TAG instead of Bitcoin?".  That would be a question that must have a well thought out answer.  Keeping it in the tech sector is another good thought just to reduce questions and confusion from users.  I forget the details, but wasn't a game developer recently busted for mining bitcoin using customer machines via the game?  That could carry some stigma for gamers who are into games but not cryptocurrencies.  Otherwise, offering TAG as an in-game award for achievements and tournament wins that could in turn be used in a cash store for in-game items along with users who could buy TAG on an exchange might be something the free MMO developers might consider.  That does seem to be the best place to start.

Well for a start you have access to Tagbond and it's API. A dedicated exchange and whatever else Mark has dreamed up for the future. The question will be why on Earth use Bitcoin. Ha!

There is a South Korean company called Nexon that has several online games. I believe you can fill out surveys and such and earn some of their in-game cash (not sure what its called) to spend on game upgrades. They also sell this in-game cash for fiat.

They have servers in the US for their games and have a decent little following (my son plays their games).
Maybe you can convince them, and their sponsors, to also accept tagcoins for in-game transactions and filling out the surveys.

Guys I'm in shock
downloaded the latest version
added AddNode = tagmining.com

almost a month ago extracted about 1000 coins
finally now 884 coins

I understand that the award may be pos orphan
but how can the coins will disappear who participated in pos mining?Huh

As a result, instead of pos reward I lost coins extracted month ago.

P.s. I am sorry for my English, I used google translate
