Hey Mark, when I change my password on Tagbond with special characters it will accept it but won't let me login with the new password. It works fine without the special characters.

Look up paper wallets for bitcoins. Same concept applies to alt-coins including tagcoins.

You can make one for tagcoins using vanitygen and a special command, but be sure to test it on the client to make sure it works. You can also make them using the existing tagcoin-qt client by running it offline and exporting or dumping the private keys, then printing those on paper.

@limbaugh developers working on the password issue. In the meantime, can you please reset your password?

BTW, I'm Alex, one of Tagbond's writers. I'll do my best to help out Mark on answering your questions here  Smiley

Hi from user 12948 - I put some TAG coins into my account and I can see there is slightly more now that a months has gone past (yeh yeh Stake) does the stake amount added show up as a 'deposit' or is it just the account balance gradually creeps up?

Just thought of another one - https://www.multipool.us/ has a TAG pool, but I seem to be the only one mining there (and my poor old laptop just isn't up to the task alone)...  any chance someone can put my round shares out of their misery???

There's not a lot of people who like the multipools in this thread, mate.  They drive the TAG difficulty through the roof.  Maybe BCX can take care of the pool have a word with them.  Grin

You're better off jumping on a normal TAG pool if you want to mine TAG.  There are a few in the OP, including my own.

so the best pool?

I doubt you can go past tagmining.com.  1% fee and as far as I know, nobody is doing any better on fees plus it has a weekly jackpot draw where a large percentage of the pool fees and donations are returned to 1 lucky miner  (or perhaps 2 or 3 miners, fuse is still working on the details).

Not sure if this has been reported, but my Tagcoin-qt stopped downloading the blockchain at about 70%. Any solutions?

Edit: Deleted blockchain and redownloaded, fixed

I just created another topic for raising awareness of Altcoins and cryptocurrency in general, using quizzes and rewards via Tagbond - feedback most welcome:

I'm one of those evil people who enjoys pools which have several coins.. lol. I like having one login and one set of workers for any number of coins, makes it easy when managing many many workers and coins.

On the other side of the coin, for TAG I've been enjoying tagmining.com (ny2cafuse's pool) the most so far. I did check out some other pools as I had been invited by their operators, and they were nice also (the block-finder reward bonuses are enticing, similar to POTS on ozcoin).

For TAG, I'm pretty much just parked with ny2cafuse's pool for now. He's active on the forums which is important, and stays on top of things. I'm sure he's seen me on his pool every now and then Wink

Hey All

Just got a couple questions.

1) When I login to the https://trade.tagbond.com site I get a PHP warning "Invalid Argument supplied for each" Using google chrome.

2) To earn interest on your coins, can they be in you wallet or do they have to be in another location.

Apologies for the noob questions.

You might consider taking http://tag.cryptominer.net off the pool list. It has been down for awhile with no updates from the op and many users' balances not returned.

Ive just been looking back through explorer.tagcoin.org and there are a whole heap of blocks that start with an alphanumeric rather than 00000000xxx etc.  They all have a difficulty of of 0.003 to 0.004 rather than current average of around 70. What is the story with them?  My pool, tagmining.com never seems to find any of them.  Is it a glitch in the explorer or is is the coin throwing in random easy blocks?

Proof of Stake blocks.

TAG is a PoW / PoS coin.
