in_array error on the Tagvert Dashboard for the prize draw I created in particular... link is http://tagbond.com/deal/dashboard/527eb4a685c657b31dbc8e39

No such error for coupon or competition.

Also a cool thing would be to allow prize draws to renew after each draw and instead of a date range, be able to enter a period (ie. number of days/hours between draws)

@btbrae - looking into that bug right now - can you send a screenshot of the error via PM? - we cannot see what you see unless you add me as a staff member. Will add that feature into the draw deal - should be ready be end of today or tomorrow.

@paladin281978 - confirmations for TAG have to stay that way, otherwise too many risks with double spend etc.

@ sidhujag - the points within the system are not the same as TAG - some companies do not want to use real money (cash or crypto), for legal reasons or as a preference. The points within the system can be called anything they want and valued at whatever they want, and using the API you could integrate it in many different ways eg: a transit system. But points have no value to anyone else, only to that community and it's members. Points cannot be transferred from member to member only to the community and back. This is closed loop currency and is perfectly legal all over the world. In India for example, it is illegal to use ewallets or emoney, and although they have not ruled against crypto, that may come. Paypal cannot operate in India like it does in the USA, people cannot use Paypal balances for commerce, just as a remittance, so companies in India would use the points system. Of course they can then change those points for their members for cash, crypto or products. Within Tagbond, we wanted to give the choice - points, crypto or cash - and let companies decide what is best for their needs.

Originally we wanted to create a centralized universal rewards currency, but that had problems, and not just from a regulation point of view. Crypto solves those problems, including use across different countries, online and offline. We could have just used BTC, but we wanted to create something a bit more stable, longer lasting and of course add some marketing to our brand.

The value of a currency develops by the use of it. As we develop Tagbond, we will be charging for search keyword bidding in TAG, as well as sponsored placement in search results - this way we don't have to work out currency conversions for each country, and companies can collect TAG from users by selling products and services that they can then put back into advertising to get more business. If it is used, the value will increase. If people hoard it, perhaps not..Wink But I think there will be a an element of both.

Hey also when you say trading in 9 currencies, does that mean you will be allowing GBP to GBP deposits from GBP accounts without exchange rate fees (just $15 equivalent transfer fee)?

OK.. Blatant plug time  Grin Tagmining.com has just found it's 5th block in under 3 days. Not bad considering there is only myself and the pool owner there and we can't even muster 3 mh/s between us.  With the block bonuses and 0% fees, I'm earning double what I would anywhere else. Check the thread about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324938

@btbrae - that is correct - you can deposit GBP into the bank account here - we get charged by the bank $10, and we charge $5 for admin, so total $15 to deposit. For sending we get charged $20 and we add $5 admin again to send it back via wire transfer IN GBP

Within Tagbond, you will be able to convert from one currency to another, we use xe.com rates, but we charge 2%..a little less than Paypal but if you need to, you can do that. We have not enabled that just yet, will do that after all the accounts are up and running.. But if you want to keep everything in GBP, not a problem...just sometimes there are not enough people out there buying and selling in the currency you want. You can buy and sell TAG using GBP, no trading fees. We will add a small amount for withdrawal of crypto to your own wallet, probably about 3 cents equivalent..(.1 of a TAG, 0.001 of a BTC)

Just as an aside, we won't be keeping large amounts of crypto in hot wallets, they will be sent to a cold wallet in a bank vault. For large transfers we will manually transfer from the cold wallet to the hot wallet for those requests. We are also working on deterministic receive only wallets, tied in offline signing with 2 people needed to transfer.

That's pretty awesome, I think this makes you one of very few options for UK buyers right now also, hopefully they will start to notice you're in town.

Also I just noticed it would be cool if you can sort the points spent/received on TagBank maybe selecting only "coupons" or "prize draws" in some kind of drop down box etc. Right now the list is pretty long and "view more" doesn't really do it justice.

Also now I see you fixed the prize draw link, I can see who won yesterday... but I don't think the winner got paid his points, I did a "Redeem all" and nothing at all happened, and I went through each member on the Live tab, clicked View and then Redeem and they got removed but the points didn't get sent to the winner (Fellow DJ).

@btbrae
Yes, we are just making sure the exchange is working well with a few users so we don;t have problems further down the line, and we will start letting people know about. A member did ask if I was going to ad dmore crypto currencies but I decided against that for now...it will dilute the use of TAG on the one hand, but it will bring extra users to Tagbond... longer term I may add support via Tagbond but not deal with the hassles of handling them all on the trading exchange. Cryptsy does that really well. We will see, it is early days at the moment.

Have to think how best to give more reporting on the Points...we were waiting to see what people wanted...:-) - we will probably add sorting by notes. That way, as long as the note is the same, you can show just those Points connected with it. Looking at your activity, it gives us a real idea of what we need to do there.

@sidhujag
you know that we are getting well know when people start using our name for phishing...

Just another idea but you could actually group them into subgroups and then into individual Tagverts as well, for example I might want to see that 30 members have redeemed a coupon (in order to see the uptake and points spent on that coupon), but not necessarily see the list of members redeeming that coupon and the time it takes to scroll them. The points spent/received tallies are probably something you could add to the coupon details in the tagvert section too, looks like the statistics need fleshing out on that page. Also enter either a date range or a day navigator.

So something like

Spent

< 10 November ---------------------------------------12 November >

11 November

 ---------------
| COUPONS |
 ---------------
MYCOUPONNAME 30 members 120 points (+ Expand)

 -------------------
| PRIZE DRAWS |
 -------------------
MYPRIZEDRAW 10 members 50 points (+ Expand)

TOTAL 170 points

Also I could use a tally of points held by members somewhere to know what my exposure is in TAGs if I issue a redeeming coupon (need to place enough in bank).
