- I will be investing in games and sites, either buying them or building from scratch, possibly using open source or engines to make them faster, as a way to earn TAG.
Although a smaller market, the Ouya would be an ideal platform to build a game for. Bringing a crypto rewards system to an indie console for indie game developers would almost guarantee press on the tech blogs.

Wait a sec, every block now updates the difficulty?

I was wondering about that too... the difficulty is all over the place.

The difficulty algorithm is much more responsive to the miners coming in and out, so that means block creation are produced more steadyily..previously if half the miners left the pools, the difficult would stay high for far too long, resulting in several hours before a new block was created.. the diff level would come down slowly and then miners would come in and rape the coin till the diff was higher, and so the cycle was repeating. It is much fairer now.

A polite way of saying multipools were trashing the coin?? I know of one multipool that used to jump in every time the diff dropped, they have hardly touched the coin since the new algorithm came into effect. It's not worth their effort for one or two rounds whereas before it was open slather for 30 rounds, wait 8 hours, rinse and repeat..

heya guys, difficulty is indicative of overall hash rate. Anyone got a formula for this? For TAG only. The parameters are different since we have 4 minute targets. You can't use the same formula for other alt-coins without considering the differences.

TagYak would like to welcome our newest member group "tagmining.com." This group now gives ny2cafuse and his pool mining website a dedicated public forum with mass member messaging and user docs that can be used for pool mining "how-to" wikis or other collaborative efforts.
To help promote the "tagmining.com" group TagYak will give a TAG to the first ten members to join this group.
If you would like to create your own TAG group, with a dedicated forum and docs, just join TagYak and click "Create Group" in the user toolbar.

After putting TagBond away for a couple of weeks, I just updated the Android client. I get a message about receiving 500 PHP. 1) there are two "PHP" tickers 2) the 500 PHP wont show in my PHP wallet.
12847.

The Tagbond Wallet Client is in beta at the moment, the coders are working on notifications for it and that was a testing message..will tell them to get rid of that...you don't really get 500PHP...not unless I send it to you..lol

fairer to who? left the miner at diff 36 a few hours ago, now it's above 85. i'd rather call this stupid than fair
