Gigabyte WF3 7950 w/ F43 bios & modified .bin files from litecointalk forums( https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,6058.0.html): --thread-concurrency 24000 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1130 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 20 -w 256 -I 17 -g 1 <--- 640kh @ 77degrees with no additional cooling --thread-concurrency 24000 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1130 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-powertune 20 -w 256 -I 20 -g 1 <--- 701kh @ ~83degrees with no additional cooling With better cooling and tweaking the clocks, I could push more. With my MSI 7950's this is what I use: tc: 40960 engine: 1100 memory: 1500 powertune: 20 intensity: 20 That'll net 680-690kh around 75-80* on the Twin Frozr, or 55-60 with the Prolimatech MK26 cooler (I <3 this cooler! silent and super cool) I have some more aggressive settings for the MSI which will push it to 710/720.

assuming you are running a windows machine: go to start, then in the search bar type in "run" when the run menu pops up type %appdata% look for your folder called tagcoin open that up. make a backup of the file called wallet.dat then open up notepad. in notepad write "addnode=xx.xx.xxx.xx" <- where the x's are replaced with actual number corresponding to the numbers i gave above, or a mining pool. save it as, all files, "tagcoin.conf" close out the tagcoin-qt. delete all the files in the tagcoin folder except for wallet.dat, and the tagcoin.conf restart tagcoin-qt. ? profit

Hey
What is going on here?
I choose solo mining TAG with 1.5 Mhs few days ago, cos it was on very low diff. When I start mining syncronize was 100%. I had (have with "old" client and database) 3000+ TAG already confirmed. (Sent coins confirmed too, but never arrived to address)
Updated client, gettin new db on another comp, refreshing wallet. And now all of my coins are unconfirmed, balance = 0.
Is this normal? I want back the "wrong" chains... thats the good one for me.
you were on the wrong chain. welcome to tagcoin.

So is it just me or is cryptsy still on the wrong chain? I think a bunch of people are going to be real steamed when they realize that all these coins they are purchasing at .003 btc each are going to poof in a about 12 hours.
lol shit. oh well, there goes my coins. Trade that crap back to BTC now.

@ erk - We notified Paul at Cryptsy as soon as we knew what was happening via twitter direct to him (which responded back to, which was good considering the growth pains they are having) and via the ticket system as well. We told bter.com as well, but nothing back from them yet, and I think btc38.com halted trading for a while. Also notified coinex via their support tickets. We certainly don;t expect them to read this lil thread when they deal with so many coins..

I have just posted a minor update (1.0.2.1) which is recommended for use, on github QT (git): https://github.com/tagcoin/tagcoin-qt.gitSource Code (git): https://github.com/tagcoin/tagcoin.gitThis has the correct checkpoints for the longest chain. Will compile the ubuntu and mac clients shortly I also have a block explorer created, just doing the dns for the domain name and will post it here. Basic as before but now we can work on it ourselves and integrate to the TagCoin.org website with better features. It's all in php/mysql so easy enough ..

you were on the wrong chain. welcome to tagcoin. how can a chain be wrong? whats the guarantee 2 days later wont be all mined coin again be on a "wrong" chain.. and gettin a new "good" one again at this moment 8+ active connection on the "wrong" chain => all of them thats the good one, cos their coins are there forked. hardcoded checkpoints help. if you synced to the wrong nodes, well, you'd end up in the wrong chain again.

I have installed the block explorer, which is using the updated code with the checkpointing to explorer.tagcoin.org - We will make it pretty later and add some extra features.

Nobody tells me what to do? yesterday an open question You probably wont get the coins back they no longer exist, you were most likely on a fake block chain. @ erk - We notified Paul at Cryptsy as soon as we knew what was happening via twitter direct to him (which responded back to, which was good considering the growth pains they are having) and via the ticket system as well. Anyone know what the currecnt net hash is? The diff at 52.88545922 seems very high for a reasonably new alt coin. this coin is such a damn fucking mess, biggest piece of shit mess around Dev learn your fucking shit next time, noob
DO NOT MINE THIS CRAP BECAUSE YOU WILL CONSTANTLY LOOSE YOUR COINS, DEV HAS NO IDEA HOW TO RUN A DAMN COIN
Devs don't run a coin, miners and pool owners do, learn who to shout at if you loose a coin.

@erk
the diff was always this high almost from day 1 - the algo we created did not handle the miners coming and leaving at the speed they did, so we rewrote the diff changes a little bit - seems much more responsive now. Still, it's a long way from 500 million..:-)
There is a demand for the coin, probably because there is a real company and idea behind it.
