No - it's a Ukrainian bloke on his keyboard that's deciding your "market". Open your eyes.

Anyone owning a lot of GHS could easily be controlling the market.

Whats going on with CEX today? Getting a lot of strange block sizes and block rewards that aren't being counted.  One block size said it was 5000 btc lol.  That mean we missing out on real work?  Good day.

Would tend to agree with that.. ghash.io shows that too.

Can also see it in the raw data that shows up on the cex website, but it doesn't actually display.

I've got the same thing. Look at your ghash.io dashboard, scroll down and you will see the merged alt-coin tabs. I hope all that stuff is MINE!

Where are my rewards !!!  Grin

It would be pretty cool if merged coins are added to rewards (more gains for us and more attract for CEX.IO  Wink )

Based on the fact that they're no longer mentioning that nmc's goto the pool fee i think we will get them paid out, but just not sure if they'll charge a pool fee too..

I'm no authority, but Merged mining uses no additional resources for alt-coin block solving.

Balance page shows the other coins now.  Withdraw button grayed out. I wonder because just testing or need some limit to withdraw.   If only DVC was 300 like BTC I'd be rich with my 7. Guess I'll horde them and maybe some day.....

Can we have your registered office address and company registration number for verification at companies house (UK)

http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/toolsToHelp/findCompanyInfo.shtml

Your page mentions:

Quote
We are conducting business as a legitimate UK based company. We will not be able to disappear, as we are governed by UK laws.

and

Quote
VITOPRIA CONSULTANTS LTD

Strovolou, 77 STROVOLOS CENTER, 2nd floor, Flat/Office 204, Nicosia, 2018, Cyprus

However I'm unable to find VITOPRIA CONSULTANTS LTD at companies house UK, is that a Cyprus registered company Huh

At the present moment the founders of CEX.IO are in the process of transferring assets and ownership of CEX.IO to CEX.IO LTD in UK.

Up to this moment, VITOPRIA CONSULTANTS LTD was the investor as well as the assets owner of CEX.IO.

Right now the founders of CEX.IO have reacquired all the assets of CEX.IO and have acquired assets of GHash.IO as well. As soon as all official registration steps are completed - we will release an official statement regarding the ownership of CEX.IO and GHash.IO

also where does the 3% referral bonus come from since the ghash.io pool has no fees?

The referral program bonus GHS are covered by the GHashes from the CEX.IO budget, which is generated from the trading accounts of our hardware providers according to our agreement with them.

also also.. what is your motivation for providing this service if you are not taking any fees?

Thank you

This is baffling question, because at a certain point of time, every businessman should be able to identify the true assets of this type of business.
According to our terms of use, we do not guarantee that the fees will always be 0%, but for now - they are, and we plan to keep it that way.

Hey, how do you people explain the spike to 0.145 of Nov, 4?
We'd like to state once again, that CEX.IO is a platform for the commodity exchange, and our purpose is to serve as a guarantee between buyers and sellers. We do not affect buyers or sellers in the terms of price change.

In every market - the price for a commodity is defined by the supply-demand equivalency for the commodity, and that is exactly the case of CEX.IO

About the price increase on November 4th - we were surprised as much as you were.

We would also like to state that are on the final stage of implementing merged mining.
We have already implemented the mining functions, and every CEX.IO user can see stats of alt coin mining.
The withdraw function is being implemented right now.
The withdraw button is greyed out for now, but will be enabled soon.

This does not affect your BTC mining, but gives you additional income.

And the good news are - the GHash.IO pool fee stays 0%

We will also be able to answer any upcoming questions on this forum, or via a support ticket on CEX.IO: https://cexio.zendesk.com/requests/new
