I see shares being accepted on both us1 and nl1. Hope they are being counted despite front-end stuff being down.

Dear CEX.IO users, We've had some troubles with the server channels in the past 8 hours. However we have effectively solved these issues, and now everything is working perfectly. In case you don't know already - we compensate the has-rate within 24 hours Also we are glad to announce that altcoins (NMC, DVC, IXC) withdraw function has been fixed as well. Happy Hashing!

+1 I thought they already did disappear from the list automatically, but that doesn't seem to be the case. My .ghash worker did disappear once in the past, when I hadn't had any GHS for a few days. But now another temporary worker is still listed, even though it only mined for a short while 3-4 days ago. BTW, can anyone explain the worker grouping option on account preferences? I guess the email and phone number are for grouped alerts, but what about the read-only password? The grouped alerts would be useful, since I'm now getting a flood of text messages and emails on every downtime.

Got a question, what would happen.. oh say if i put my cex.io deposit address as 50% of the share holders payment and the other 50% to my own personal wallet?
Seeing payments go out of a different address.
Reason is i am using my BFl Jally to help mine on cex.io and want that part of the profits to come back to me and the 1/2 to go back into btc balance to buy more gh/s.
Anyone else doing/tried this?
Thanks

You would think that since I work - and practically live - online that I'd have gotten into BTC sooner, but noooo. It first hit my radar about two years ago, but didn't pique my curiosity until about 6 mos ago. I didn't get started with it until about a week and a half ago. I bought my first ghs (0.02 ghs was all I could afford at the time) on Friday. I've been throwing all the BTC dust I've been accumulating over at Coin Base at it and I am pleased to say that I am up to 1.105 ghs less than 24 hours later. I've got a bank transfer coming into Coin Base on Tuesday so I can buy another 2 ghs. I'm loving what I am seeing, but I confess I don't completely understand it. I saw somewhere on the board something about the ghs that I buy only belong to me for a year. Is that true? What will happen to them after that year? Is there something else I should be working toward to maximize my earnings? My first thought is that most of my profit should get rolled back into ghs. Is this accurate? Also, as far as the other cryptocurrencies I am accumulating on CEX, what should I do with them? Where is the best place to convert them all to BTC? Thank you for bearing with my painfully newbie questions - Cynthia

If you just put yourself under the shareholders with a 50% payout, 50% will go to the address the remaining 50% goes to your CEX.io balance. (At least it did for me ) So there shouldn't be a need to put two address if you want the remaining to spill over into your CEX.io account. Granted I did this right after they implemented shareholders working and they've changed a bit since then, so who knows

Prices down a little bit since I last check, but still seem pretty high at around 0.08 Bitcoin. Difficulty is breaking off of the unsustainable curve up, but looks like it will still get a nice increase.

BTC break the 500$ barrier at MtGox... With next diff everybody want more GH/s. So price will be high until a competitor come but for the moment CEX.IO is a leader.
