I'm a newcomer to ghash.io. And probably a short timer too, after the promo ends 

One limitation I'm running into is that they only support automatic payouts for BTC. But like everyone else looking for the promo reward, I'm mining LTC.

I asked their support about this and they said that I should make a feature request. So I did. Who knows if it will be up voted or not.

So how are people moving their coin off the cex.io exchange? Are you just withdrawing LTC manually and paying their 0.001 LTC fee? That's pretty cheap.

Or maybe you can configure BTC auto payout, then exchange LTC for BTC? I don't know if that works, or if auto payout only affects BTC that has been actually mined.

Any suggestions for moving coin off of cex.io?

FYI, I know that I have to wait 48 hours from setting up my account before withdrawing. No biggie.

Error message indicating my account isn't > 48 hours (but it clearly is).

Support ticket response indicates email confirmation bug (somehow the error message about my account age somehow relates to email confirmation?)

Over two hours worth of mining in their pool was stuck and desynced from the Litecoin network.

WOW, that goes against what they had previously said and it verifies th fact the steal good luck periods and repay during low luck. Actually unbelievable!!!

You currently have 4.3 THS. You've experienced downtime for 11 hours. After that you've got compensation in two hour-long waves: one with 32.8 THS, and second one with 25 THS. These make up (33-4)+(25-4) = 50 THS*hr of extra hash rate. Your losses were 4.3*11=47.3 THS*hr.

Hence, we've compensated all your hash rate loss with little extra.

Please be aware that we compensate your hash rate losses, and do not count your possible BTC income and counting extra blocks with same BTC income after that. If the you've got less funds during the compensation than you've lost during the downtime, this means that the luck parameter was lower. Unfortunately, we are not able to change it in someone's interest, so this time you've got less blocks than expected.

hashrae offline for 12+ hours(4.3THPS) 35 blocks = 0.5btc.

BTC removed from my account several times as mining fee for blocks i was not getting paid.

compesnation paid as one giant lump of hash over a handful of blocks.

0.5bc lost = 0.15btc regained in compensation

We DO NOT look on your BTC losses. We look and compensate fully all the losses you've encountered in GHS.
You had losses equivalent to 1 hour of 47 THS hash rate, you were compensated in equivalent to 1 hour of 50 GHS. So, you've got even some extra hashing for some time.

What if the luck parameter was very high at the moment of compensation and blocks were found every 3-5 minutes instead of hours, and all your losses were covered trice? Would you complain than? I don't think you. And in such potential case our moves would be absolutely the same.
