A good gambler understands the game, doesn't gamble more than he/she can afford to lose, doesn't chase losses, is emotionally stable and knows when to quit.

A good gambler knows what sort of gambling strategies he can MAKE on a certain Streak and change accordingly without any big loss, recovering in the next wave.

Being a good gambler isn't only about strategies, streaks, cutting or avoiding losses.

Just because you can change accordingly without any big loss, you're a good gambler but that's a normal gamblers instinct of not having any big loss.

If a gambler tend to let himself fall and get into a lot of losses, it is his problem. Simply a good gambler, knows what he's doing.

And give us good number of good gamblers right now? I know most people don’t have such list who are continuously claiming that good gamblers are this and that. Self controlling is very important in gambling, without a clear mind there will be a lot of mistakes in betting and even causing reckless betting and losing all of the money in split second

a good gambler know when to stop
Setting a limit is very important in gambling, setting a lost limit will prevent you to over spend your money and setting a win limit is  also important because in the long run the house got a bigger chance to win due to the house edge

a good gambler never cause any problem to the surrounding
A good gambler know that the chances of losing money in gambling is huge, so a gambler should never used daily needs money or borrowing money to gamble, and a gambler should never think of robbery or stealing to gamble

a good gambler can accept lost
When losing a good gambler won't blame the surrounding, cursing or accusing the  casino as fraud places, losing is the half part of gambling, if you can't accept lost then dont start to gamble

a good gambler should able to manage the time
A good gambler know how to split the time for family, for friends and for gambling, a good gambler never neglected family or friend just because of gambling

We must encourage people to become a good gambler, so people won't always have a bad judgement about gambler

Yes maybe gambling is a bad way other says that it us bad but since every people has a different understanding so that we cannot blame them about anything as well. Since gambling is good when it is used for good works as well as to help and create change in a good way. Gambling turns bad when it is used to an illigal works like winning to get the price and then start up a business that is in bad way.

Control is a way that makes you want to stop gambling for a day or hour for you not to lose it all. I don't have this ability, that's why I lost .1 btc in a second.

The reason why i abandoned gambling is because I was focusing on profit and not really focusing on the fun of it.  Seriously, it is very difficult for one to make it in gambling if emotions control your investments.  Now from this thread I now know I am wrong.

People some time even know that they are making a mistake, but they continue and repeat the mistake again and again. In fact once they become addicted in gambling, then they find it too much difficult to get control over their emotion and which is in fact the big cause of losing money in gambling.

Do not become too greedy during win/lose. leave early if you have won in the game or some good amount during start itself. Try to take break from gambling so that do not get addicted to it.

Yes, as long as people who gamble are able to maintain their game and never get a bad situation in his life because of gambling, I can assume that he is a good gambler. Losing or winning in gambling will not change everyday life, especially in financial matters.

If gamblers can just control their greediness I guess there will be no problem on gambling. Most of the gamblers are addicted to gambling since they can earn easy money, "Easiest money of my Life!" I've heard it once on my friend, I thought it will be continuing since he is really bragging about it but when I asked her wife, he barely give any money to their children nor support their elder son to go to school. It is sad not because he is losing a lot of money but because his children are greatly affected of his addiction.

Everything in life is a gamble more or less.

Staying with FIAT, hodling crypto, trading, choosing a college, buying a laptop, marrying a woman... The difference between those is, you can do your research and minimize the chance of losing the game while you cannot do it on a dice game.

You can even minimize your chances of losing by betting on sport games. I know it because I've seen people who successfully pulled that shit.

What matters is, we all play the game (and we should, because that makes sense) we understand the best.

I can play when I want and I can stop when I want, I can gamble for $50 for a whole day and if I set the limit at $50 then I will never gamble $51 not a single chance for that. I will stop and leave my computer before I go and bet another single cent over it.

If you can get that self discipline than you can become a good gambler as well. Keep calm, don't panic, do not get cocky and play it like its a "game" not like your whole will change in a second, it probably won't.

If they can't take time to understand the game then they will not be categorized as a good gambler.

But to me what they need to understand is the risk that they are taking and the possible negative result which they might come up with if they gamble. I'll add that good gamblers will never blame the game, will never blame that they are unlucky.
