Wetsuit, can you offer some thoughts on how Freebitco.in will handle account balances in the event of a hard fork over to BU? Thanks.
5. All users who held a balance with us before the hard fork (when the snapshot was taken in point 2) will be able to withdraw an equivalent number of coins in the minority chain.Regardless of how I feel about the block-size debate, our priority will be maintaining the maximum possible value for our users. So if BU wins you will not be issuing credits for BU...only pausing transaction activity pre-fork and then depositors to continue with BTC. Correct?

So if BU wins you will not be issuing credits for BU...only pausing transaction activity pre-fork and then depositors to continue with BTC. Correct? Sorry if it wasn't clear - but if BU wins, we will use BU as the primary coin and users will be able to withdraw an equivalent number of BTC to their wallets since that will become the minority chain. If BU forks with at least 75%, it will be very difficult for the BTC chain to survive and confirmation times will increase 4x and fees will go through the roof until the difficulty resets (which will also take 4x as long). In such a scenario, it would be very difficult to use BTC as our primary coin. However, if BU forks with around 50% then it is more likely than not that the BU chain will die out. We shall pause all deposits and withdrawals until there is a clear winner. If the BTC chain wins, then we will make that our primary coin and users will be able to withdraw an equivalent number of BU coins to their wallet. In all scenarios, if there is a fork users will get 2 coins for each coin that have deposited with us, so they will not be losing out in any way. We cannot however guarantee that their withdrawal transaction in the minority chain will ever confirm (although we will use the appropriate fee) because there will most likely be a rush of users trying to withdraw to exchanges to sell and fees and confirmation times will go through the roof. I hope this is clearer? Please let me know if this isn't.

Can I deposit bitcoins from my bitcoin wallet and receive daily interest with the deposited balance? Or it only counts the balance I made from claiming hourly?

You will also receive interest on your deposit balance. Not only the hourly claiming balance. Actually they pay interest for those balance which you hold at your account.

I can answer this since i was the one who brought up the question. There is a debate on whether bitcoin core (what you own as bitcoin today) will continue as is or if a bitcoin competitor (called bitcoin unlimited) will be allowed to exist in parallel to existing bitcoin core. Both Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Unlimited will be called bitcoin, but essentially it's two different currencies. Unlimited will allow for larger transactions to pass through its blockchain, this is the biggest (if not only) differentiator between the two coins. Without the ability for larger transactions people fear that the existing bitcoin (core) blockchain will end up having long wait times and higher fees to complete a transaction. It's silliness, if you ask me, but it's a real debate and the people that do the mining get to essentially vote on which type of bitcoin prevails - core or unlimited. I asked the question because if Freebitco.in is now a holder of our deposits I'd like to know how they will handle our bitcoin (core) deposits if bitcoin unlimited becomes the "winner" of this debate. There are a lot of Bitcoin Core vs. Bitcoin Unlimited discussions going on in this Forum right now. I encourage you to do some reading on the Bitcoin Discussion page. wetsuit What do you mean by BU? If you have blog or webpage, you can use freebitco's banner, wetsuit had designed one for your account that is complete with your ref link too. You only need to copy and paste the code. Other than that, you can also tell your friends, neighbors, classmates, teacher/professor, colleague, or anyone else to play freebitco and give them the link with your ref or use your ref number (that is your account number) upon signing up.

You have to open an account with them first, but once you have an account log-in and go to the menu called "Referrals" and there will be a few URL links and banner code that can be added to your website or forum signature or to email to friends. The URLs all have your referral code built in to lock in the referral at first click. Then, once you have some referrals, you can check the history of their activity and even kick back some bonus to them to keep them interested. Hello.

Hey wetsuit
I've been wondering about the prize tiers. You have this section to prove that the game is fair but I don't understand it.
Can you tell me: What is the probability of hitting the main prize and the other higher prizes?
I think it's (much) less than one would expect on first reading.
Like, it is speculated that the chance for getting the number 10,000 is in the millions or billions?
How are the numbers calculated? Thanks.

I read about it somewhere on tens of pages behind, not really remember the exact explanation, nor I could give better one as I am not a technology expert, but the numbers are actually just a representation of the hash series, just like the ones on gambling sites. It is not the number that gives you winning, it is the hash.

Though the chance of win is abysmal I need an assurance that someone really won the rolls with legit proof of course.

Hey wetsuit, is there anyway for me to contact one of my referrals? I have a specific referral who has been quite profitable and I would like to offer him/her a rev share option if they commit to using the site even more. Not sure if this is possible, and I imagine it is not, but I would absolutely love to have that opportunity if it's at all possible. Thanks!

Hi wetsuit, I loved the "Annual Interest Rate" concept. It's a good one, the rate also quite high, compare to the bank's interests

I have a fe.eling that this new "Annual Interest Rate" concept is going to introduce some new investors who haven`t met bitcoin yet. This interest is actually higher than what you can get from Bank. Only problem is trust issue. Although they are one of the oldest and trusted faucet on the internet, people still will be a bit sceptical in the beginning. After all, they will be sitting on thousands of Bitcoins. I personally will give it a try.
