Sometimes I think more people would support the faucet if we had a community site away from this forum with tips and tricks on how to convert to and from bitcoin safely and how to invest in freebitcoin.

I for one hate those sites with chat rooms. They make the site heavy and not very attractive to me. I absolutely love the fact that FreeBitco.in is clean and clutter-free. FaucetHub/FaucetGame are good examples how a faucet/gaming experience is hindered by clutter.

I don't think that freebitco.in need to have chat. It's just additional hassle for website owner. He would have to hire moderators, who will delete various referral links, ban spammers and those, who are breaking chat rules. Do they really need for it? Because all information for newbies can be found on their FAQ page.

Because all information for newbies can be found on their FAQ page. I'm not suggesting a chat or adding to the faucet but a separate community, but as for mods that is the hard part. The problem is the facts don't answer all the doubts that come with a site like Freebitco. The main reason it is sellable is that it's been around and makes payments. Also the fact that wetsuit comments on here erases a ton of doubt...but we understand the nature of this community. many others don't.

Hey friends, just saw the comments about activating 2FA. There's no requirement to enable 2FA, but obviously we highly recommend it...especially if you're using FreeBitco.in as a wallet for a large balance. Because we know some of you won't want to use 2FA we've enhanced security measures even if you're not using it. Leveraging email notifications and authorizations, we're enhancing security to:- Request a withdrawal - You'll need to authorize all withdrawals from your email address
- Login from a new device - You'll need to verify the use off the new device via email
I know, additional steps but it's worth it to make sure that you are the only person interacting with your account. If you have questions, I'm nearby!

FaucetHub/FaucetGame are good examples how a faucet/gaming experience is hindered by clutter. At first I thought it would be a good feature, but I actually agree with you on second thought. I've never seen a site with a trollbox that isn't a cesspool of beggars and vulgar trolls. In that regard, it would actually harm the site I think to enable that kind of interaction.

Exactly, and if tips or help you need, I think a real-time chat environment would be the least effective for any useful explanations - a forum like this is much better in my opinion. It's true that I never thought much of FreeBitco.in when I first saw the front page which consisted a sign-up form and not much explanation. I never sign-up for things that I don't have much information about. In that I think FreeBitco.in need a more newbie-friendly front page.

Because if it require me to use my mobile phone to generate some code , i will stay off for a while (changing my phone soon) to avoid unnecessary risks of getting locked out from my account.

2FA is already in place : when logging in, you have to provide a code from a 2 factor authentification app (Authy or Google authentification for example) installed on your phone. So indeed you need your phone with you each time you want to log in on a new or shared computer/phone.

Every time I get this message when I want to claim with Phone's cellular data
"Sorry, This IP adress has been blocked. If you are using proxy, VPN or anonymization service, please turn it off before claiming free bitcoins"
I don't use any of these. I'm just opening with cellular data that's all. My only way is open with Wifi
Is there can help me? Reset modem can solve it. I'm saying cellular data. Mobile phone. Not modem. Clearing cache is not solution also Have you tried login with another Mobile's cellular data? If it is working then PM to the admin of freebitco. He may solve your issue.

I see. Thanks for the explanation guys. Will consider using 2FA once i changed my phone . I am starting to use freebitco as my bitcoin wallet now. The interests, although small, still quite worth it.

Today, I am getting a notification asking me to enable 2-FA. I don't have it enabled yet, but I did get a deposit recently, so this begs the question. Is there a global notification asking everyone to enable 2-FA or am I being asked to enable 2-FA, because I have a certain balance in my account. Please let me know. If it's because of my balance, then I understand. If it's a global thing, is there some threat I am unaware of?
A notification on the front page or in email? I haven't got an email from them about the 2FA authentication but I've been having one on the front page for quite some time now. Front page after logging in.
