Does actually use someone this site as a wallet? If so, how much do you leave on there? I store there as much as i can right now for the interest (a couple thousand satoshi a day for doing nothig  add up over time) even though its not a high amount of bitcoins its also not just dust. I trust them alot and have been using the site for more than 2 years i think? But you can never be careful enough with your money.

How much do you guys store on freebitco.in? If you feel uncomfortable telling an exact number just give me an estimate.

You may not be looking for a response from me, but I've been using FreeBitco.in as a wallet since we started paying interest. With all the talk about how online exchanges and wallets are so risky it's about damn time one of them compensates us for the risk we take in using their services and not having access to our private keys.

I keep a decent balance - bitcoins on balance.

I know that they still pay out, but im just wondering how secure it would be if you store lets say 10BTC on there? Thats more than 40,000$ right now but you would get a nice interest on it (for me its more than i would get if i let it sit on my fiat money bank account).

I would say, as safe as you would keep it in your exchanger account balance.
as always... don't put all of your eggs in one basket.  Grin

btw I have a question, some users has asked it but not been answered yet (I've searched this thread)
can we change the email address on an account at will? whether it's still valid and/or we have no access to that email

Yes, I notice that but I am afraid to try it and risk my account getting locked
maybe I should try it after I withdraw my balance  Cheesy
the problem is my balance keep getting back to 0 due to losing on multiply game  Cry
so any official answer from wetsuit or myfe perhaps, thanks

website faq stated:
Quote
Q: How can I change my Bitcoin address or Email address?
A: By clicking on the button that says PROFILE in the top menu. You will be able to change your email address only if the email that is currently attached to your account is invalid or it is bouncing our emails back.

It depends if you think BCC will increase in value in the future or not, so it's a bit of a gamble. Even with the recent pump in BCC the exchange rate here still works out well as you don't need to pay exchange and transaction fees.
Personally, I exchanged here but have kept some other BCC as I think there is a chance the price will get pumped up pretty high at some point in the future. If not and it ends up worthless then it was free anyway so I haven't really lost out.

BCC/BCH is fundamentally alot stronger, I would put at least 10% in it right now.
8MB blocksize vs 1MB.
No segwit vs segwit (spying, control, centralisation that you will get with segwit)
Speed vs slag.

How much do you guys store on freebitco.in? If you feel uncomfortable telling an exact number just give me an estimate.

Believe it or not I have more at FreeBitco.in than I have in my wallet. But I have to admit that, since I don't have much BTC, that's not much to lose. I trust them I think as much as I trust PayPal but that's only because PayPal has been around longer and I've been with them for about 10 years, even though I have more money there than I care to lose and even though there are stories about frozen accounts.

I have to say that 3 years, which is about as long as they have been around I think, is still a short time in terms of a business lifespan. Even if you can trust someone and the business he does, sometimes business go out of... business  Smiley.

But I do hope they will be in business for a long time. And I like wetsuit's philosophy, and I hope they will keep up the good work and listen to us small people sometimes  Grin

I also use them as wallet. They are the oldest faucet online and are still paying with a very active admin.

Awesome website!
If you're tired of polo, then there's a new exchange that is open 1st September by the Apple & Wall Street, is called WCX.
Now register , get free 50 tokens
Price 10 WCX = 1 USD at ICO

WCX Token is Proof of Stake for passive.

245,039 people have signed up for WCX.
Register get token free. >> https://wcex.co/?ref=tjWSa8s

What are WCX Tokens (WCXT)?

10 WCX = 1 USD at ICO
As a holder of WCX Tokens, you're entitled to a portion of WCX's revenue.

20% of all revenue generated by WCX is automatically paid out to token holders, in amounts based on each holder's share of the total amount of tokens.

As an exchange, WCX collects fees in many digital currencies. That means that holding WCXT is equivalent to holding a passive income portfolio of diverse digital currencies.

Question for Wetsuit :

We collect doge on Free doge. And we tried to transfer (it was 162 doge) to Coinpot. They simply vanished in the abyss of the Pot... . Huh Grin Shocked

Now I see that we can also deposit doge on our Freebitco accounts. Only minimum is 9756 Doge ? That would mean something like 120 weeks... .

Or did I see something wrong? Roll Eyes
