Bitcoin vs altcoins?

Hi guys , what do you most prefer , holding bitcoins or buying altcoins which is have a good technology and for long term investment ?. I'm a little bit doubtful  where should i stand on . I'm not rich enough to buy and hold this coins at the same time.However I'm trying to figure out which of the  two much better . bitcoins have a old technology in blockhain compare to altcoins now which is they are more advanced but the prices  varies so  what your insight about this ?

Bitcoin is best for long time invest. Every day bitcoin price increase. other alt coin is good regularly buy sell. if you saw price chart seen that alt coin price 1k% increase a day. It not possible with bitcoin.

Differences Bitcoin and Altcoin - Vitrual currencies of various kinds such as Litecoin, Dogecoin and Altcoin. The currently popular is Bitcoin. Even so there is no mistake if you understand the difference of each virtual currency. Each virtual currency has its own advantages and disadvantages. Examples are Altcoin and Bitcoin. If further traced many types of cryptocurrency that exist in the community but that is good then Bitcoin. Altcoin itself is a newcomer that has not been widely known by the public so that the picture of Altcoin is still vague or unclear.

I agree both was very good to investment because both have ​great opportunities for those of us who want to do investment although it has the difference between bitcoin and altcoin but it’s not a problem

I personally believe that Bitcoin is the master or prime currency of cryptomarket. Bitcoin is also known as first ever cryptocurrency made with combination of blockchain and cryptography.

After Bitcoin there are number of altcoins in market but till date value of these altcoins can be evaluated in BTC only. So without having value to Bitcoin, there is no value for altcoins.

I also agree that there are some drawback with platform Bitcoin using, and there are also solutions for it for lightning speed of transactions and minimal time for transaction. So in upcoming future Bitcoin will reach to height as no altcoin can compete with it. But still altcoins will be best cryptocurrencies used for micro transactions.

From my experience, altcoins (especially Ethereum) has given me a lot more profits when compared to Bitcoin. That said, some people may be having emotional attachment to BTC, since it is the original crypto.

The role of both is very important. You can not invest all the money in bitcoins. No doubt bitcoin is the most valuable coin and it is the number one coin for me for long-term investment when compared to altcoin, My stuff is about 70% bitcoin and the remaining 30% is altcoin. Even a small portion of bitcoin can give you more benefits in the long run than altcoin. I prefer both and I do not rely on a single coin.

I think, this is not about which is better than bitcoin and altcoin, both are good choices. However, if you can not buy both simultaneously, maybe altcoin is a wise choice.

I would choose a bitcoin that has "old" technology in blockchain but bitcoin is able to make coins by partnering with the adopted technology. besides bitcoin i will choose ethereum, NEO.

Bitcoin has remained as the no.1 crypto-currency till now (in terms of market cap), but the market dominance has been eroding for the past many years. A few months back, it had hit an all-time low of 32% before recovering to the low 40s.

well, for anyone who can take advantage of both sides, able to make his income grow to become more. not a few people are trying to utilize bitcoin and altcoin simultaneously. but, I feel that the ultimate goal is to collect the bitcoin.

buy bitcoin and altcoin if there are in the market is the same because the price of altcoin is affected by bitcoin, the big factor that affected altcoin is bitcoin, the altcoin is the same with bitcoin unless you try investing in ICO project, it means that you can try to buy altcoin when that coin is in ICO phase, its mean that that coin is new and still not available in the market

Comparing bitcoin against altcoins is just like comparing a king to his slave. Looking how far bitcoin have gone, its market capitalization is the key to its success since it is the demand of people that dictates its market price too. As to altcoins, there are actually lots of them that are also making big names in the crypto world today.
