Alright, I'm preparing an alpha version for you guys to test

new wallet design

One of the main new features is a timeline with visualization of the mempool.

You can test it yourself by creating tx and observing their behavior

This visualisation will be of great help for the development/testing of the upcoming tx-appendix feature.

Here a windows-version for those who want to take a quick look

https://www.zettelkasten.org/downloads/zettelkasten--new-UI-alpha.zip

I will provide sourcecode and linux version later this day.

First some rest.

Enjoy

PS be aware this is an early version and may have bugs. So always backup your wallet or test in a safe environment where you can't break anything important.

Looks like no one is using https://www.unnamed.exchange/Exchange?market=ZETTEL_BTC

The buy or sell markets are even better there Grin

cheaper zettel than safetrade @ https://www.unnamed.exchange/Exchange?market=ZETTEL_BTC

we could use a better buy wall there too Wink

or sell wall for that matter :-) :-)

I'm interested with this project but i wont to bought if no mature plan is arranged
as a trader no matter what the price listed on the exchanges if it makes a profit why not but not a dead market too

You are not wrong about that.

I will provide more information during the next days.

Top priority in this project is currently to finally tie up all loose ends and to give a clearer picture about the future.

Block reward has fallen below 7 ZTTL now.

ZTTL are getting rarer and rarer,
harder to get.

Are you mining yet?

New Linux wallet works great, love the timeline (shows the number of transactions being sent) & coin control features are a plus. The new layout also makes room for additional pages with many features. We need more users to see ZTTL & its uniqueness, plus more miners & traders of ZTTL would be nice  Wink

@zettelkasten Hello, can you tell us in which version the external miner will be presented, will it be an application that is connected to work in the pool, or will it require a running and unblocked local wallet? Just now, the miner built into the local wallet requires unlocking the wallet for mining, which of course does not add security for storing coins. Thanks.

No pools with zettelkasten. (we use spreadcoin's pool-prevention-feature)

With the upcoming external CPU miner you will mine through RPC, directly using your local node (but it's possible to mine to an external wallet, but not recommended)

An unlocked wallet is only required if you don't use a fix miningprivkey (mining towards a single address whose privkey is stated in the conf file)
For example, you can use a miningprivkey that isn't even part of the wallet.dat of the associated local wallet.

It's your job to provide necessary security to your local network, not zettelkasten's.
The idea is that once coins have been mined you consolidate them AWAY from the miners to a secure address.
If you want maximum security for your mined coins, put them on paperwallets as quickly as possible

Thank you

EDIT: and yes, zettelkasten is solo-mining only. We offer mining on the testnet (BURGER) to users with weak hardware who struggle finding blocks on mainnet. They can then trade testnet coins for real ZTTL, see here: https://www.zetteltalk.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28

Well, I usually do this after finding the block, I move the extracted coins to another wallet, when can I expect updates as I understand this will happen this summer?

Yes, especially outlining how the actual "knowledge management" is going to look, will be presented within august.

yes, has been for a while.
People should use this exchange more, sometimes they can get a better price there.

Recommended to keep both exchanges in your eyes for sure

https://www.unnamed.exchange/Exchange?market=ZETTEL_BTC has been having better buy/sell orders than Safe.Trade, just not as big of a buy wall as Safe.Trade does. So if any ZTTL supporters have some spare BTC to add to the buy wall there, it would really help.

ZTTL are really cheap now, but will not be in the future. See some big plans for the ZTTL on discord & am sure the prices will not be this low for too long, someone is pushing the market down to pick up cheap ZTTL from the looks of it Undecided

Absolutely, most people aren't aware that there will only ever be 30 Million ZTTL ever.
Ever! Even in 100 years.

Wow, someone got some cheap coins today (3 sat) & they could have sold them for (15 sat) @ https://www.unnamed.exchange/Exchange?market=ZETTEL_BTC Huh They have to run out of coins to sell sooner than later, it doesn't even cover mining cost to sell that low & if they are trying to lower the sell wall to pick up cheaper coins? It's not working  Shocked Don't sell your coins for less than it's worth to mine them, might as well hold them for the future & not sell @ a loss Cool Time to build a buy wall again, so the sell wall doesn't drop from the 30's Grin

P.S. don't forget to update Twitter every once in a while Wink

yeah, someone doesn't play by economic rules, rather by emotional ones, lol.

BTW, I don't control the twitter account https://twitter.com/zettelcrypto (it's another member of the community, since the pandemic a few guys seem to have disappeared or lost interest, but we'll clean up all the loose ends soon).
But I have started my own zettelkasten-dev related twitter account here: https://twitter.com/zettelkastendev

I will post there regularly. (careful I also post political and general stuff there)
