The obscurity under which they operated might have something to do with why this exit scam isn’t as big of a deal as it should be. Is FreeBitco.in a scam? Well, since it was founded in 2013, scam accusations have been rife online. Just look at the reviews on Trustpilot to see that this site has always had a lot of negative feedback, even when it was paying regularly. And anyone reading these negative reviews probably couldn't help but think they were losers punished for breaking the rules. Explain to me: what's the point of renewing a domain name until 2032 if you no longer want to continue operating? Do you think the authorities can't track down the owners? And why don't they?

There are many announcement threads, many scam accusation threads and it takes kind of some time to find reputation of a casino here, but I agree with you that in general Bitcoin forum is a good place to explore casino reputation.

Not quite, they are a registered company in Curacao, directors details shielded because they are "managed" by this law firm also based in Curacao:

Those guys probably manage a whole bunch of shady companies who don't want to ever be found.

BUT, assuming the right law enforcement agencies put a subpoena (or the national equivalent) on them, they will have no choice but to hand over the personal details of the site owners.

What would be their incentive to do that? In order for this to happen, there would need to be a lawsuit filed against the owners in a jurisdiction which actually has some level of control over the casino, enough to enforce the payment of damages. So the first step is figuring out what the claims are. "I deposited money and they won't let me withdraw it" is a much cleaner thing to go after than non-payment of referral bonuses and so forth. If that's what you're waiting for, sorry, but I don't think you will ever receive referral money from freebitco.in.

I have been going down all avenues to alert any and all parties associated of this exit scheme in hopes they will either shut down their association or give up the person/persons in the "shadows". Or both. My goal is prosecution and prison time for these people. I have given up on the monetary loss.

However, there are many gamblers who just land directly on freebitco and since they are oldest gambling site, people never think that they can scam and hence they deposit there

I would understand such silence if part of users still would be getting payments, but now it has stopped for everyone. About negative feedbacks prior all these current problems, it's normal for such popular website to have some negative feedbacks, there weren't that many. And in many cases on Bitcointalk, it was solved when wetsuit or The Quin was still active.
About renewing domain, not sure. Maybe they're not preparing to make final exit scam as long as website still generates money. After all, renweing domain doesn't costs much.

Offcourse they can. They can track drug marketplaces, terrorists and similar stuff, finding website owners wouldn't be something different. Why they haven't done it yet. Dodn't know, maybe they haven't got request(s), maybe it's not their priority.
