I also do wonder what happened to wetsuit and thequin, they were running the website and they went AFK, and for a short while they responded as someone else will respond, some PR guy, but that went away quickly too. I fear at this point it may not be a scam but a serious health situation that causes them to not be around anymore.

There are other possibilities too, like having sold the business to someone else so there is no reason for them to respond to anything anymore. Or a worse scenario is if the owners of the site were arrested for some crime they committed that was unrelated to this business, so the site keeps running but with this type of issues!

Why doesn’t your site have a page showing user payouts? Do you even pay? Why is there no transparency on this matter? What was the total payout volume you made over the 10 months of 2025?

When they win any amount, they do not withdraw, keep playing with the money until everything is lost and then deposit more. So for such gamblers, they never experienced the withdrawals and hence they do not know the actual status of the site. Freebitco has been a trusted name in the past and they are using that name to play with people's money and emotions and scamming them

You can’t blame yourself on this sad event since we all know how reputable freebitco.in before they started to turn out to exit scam users. They are consistent with their premium distributions and faucets for a long time.

Oh, there are still people making deposit into freebitco.
It doesn't really matter whether they credit your deposit or not, because withdrawals are not working and even if they credit your deposit, you will finally lose your funds. Freebitco hasn't processed any withdrawals for more than three months.

Anyway, it's not normal if you made a deposit a day ago and it hasn't been credited yet. Unfortunately, their support is not responsive and there's nothing you can do.

Thank you for your feedback. I really made a mistake depositing before checking the comments here on the FreeBitcoin page on BitcoinTalk. Luckily, it was only $20. Unfortunately, people who don't use BitcoinTalk will continue to deposit; the site has many users, and if 1% of them use BitcoinTalk, you can consider that a lot.

They have very high and exorbitant minimums that are impossible to reach. Rare, shady coins. They've also decided to take money from users who haven't visited their faucets in a while; they think this is normal. Those 20 faucets of theirs are also significant liabilities, which could become difficult. Check out the reviews on Cryptos' Twitter account, unless they've hidden the comments. Case Study:
FUN Sell: I was able to sell my FUN tokens and got them converted but the price was shitty ~ 1 sat/FUN. They added it to my main balance immediately.

I withdrawn my freebitcoin earnings worth BTC 0.00173039 (RP's not included).



I have opted for INSTANT withdrawal, that was supposed to take only ~ 15 minutes to credit however, its been already more than 12 hours since withdrawal.

Now it displays a message stating : Your payout requests are waiting to be manually reviewed. This process might take up to 24 hours.

At this point I am convinced we are doomed! Freebitco might not be operational as it was before.

The Domain name forever has been .in which is India.   I was never sure why but the yahoo india site allow pop3 access to their email where as all the rest did not so I've always used India domains for it often being a nicer version.  Here its obviously just a play on words to make up the name.

I do recommend they transfer this site at least to a proper responsible owner who can run a site (not likely the site) however it can be correctly done.   At the moment you have wasted traffic and losses from that such as the above case.  A reform is a far better option, a failed site has obviously occurred before in crypto.

The user in question has deposited FUN tokens in Freebitco. So, it is obvious that he has made the deposit by being attracted to the premium membership benefits. Some greedy people indeed make deposits on a platform by seeing the attractive features of a platform. But most of the newbie people do some research before making a deposit to an unknown site, it doesn't matter to them how old the site is.

To me, it doesn't feel like Freebitco got sold. In May 30, 2024, Hhampuz posted in Freebitco's signature campaign thread that because of an increasing number of concerns about Freebitco not processing withdrawals, he decided to pause the signature campaign until he hears an update or public announcement from TheQuin. Hhampuz sent a message to TheQuin but he hasn't received a response from him. He hasn't heard from TheQuin since that day. The way problems happened on Freebitco and the way we hear no response from the owner and TheQuin, I'm confident that freebitco isn't sold but these people are arrested and that's why Freebitco faces so many problems. It's definitely not an exit scam, looks more like a business that got abandoned and runs on its own or with a very little help.
