Everyone seems to care about the casino license today, but Freebitco.in does not have one. However, I haven't seen if the forum members have criticized this casino for not having a license.
there wasn't a reason to care back then, and not only was freebitco.in more of a faucet than a real casino. at that time it didn't matter if they had a license or not, trust and reputation was more important.
not that having a license would have protected anyone from getting scammed by freebitco.in, just the other day a casino with a curacao license pulled an exit scam for more than $1 million:

(Proof of Claim & Case ID)Hi everyone,I am writing this to inform you that I have officially filed a complaint against FreeBitco.in through IC3 (FBI) and FinCEN. I have already been assigned a CASE ID.If you are still waiting for them to "fix" withdrawals, you are likely wasting time. Based on how federal investigations and asset forfeitures work, those who do not file an official report will most likely be left with nothing once their assets or BTC are frozen by authorities. The burden of proof is on us. If you are not in the system, you don't exist as a victim.I urge everyone to secure their evidence IMMEDIATELY while the site is still accessible:
Get your User ID & Pending Balance: Go to the top menu, click on MORE, then PROFILE. Take a SCREENSHOT of this page. It shows your User ID and your "Pending Payouts."Collect TXIDs: Copy all your deposit Transaction IDs (TXIDs) and save them in a text file and/or screenshots. This is the only way to link your money to their wallets on the blockchain.File the report: Go to IC3.gov and FinCEN and submit your claim. Use your screenshots and TXIDs as evidence.Don't wait until the website goes completely offline. Once the domain is seized or the servers are wiped, your evidence is gone. Protect your claim now
what is the FBI gonna do? they have no jurisdiction to do anything to the guy that allegedly operating freebitco.in now. also not everyone who got scammed is from the US, so reporting it to the IC3 and FinCEN is useless.
