Where did you found that statistics? I would say from my experience, that there is really many of the great projects comming out recently

How confident are you that these great projects will be profitable? I was taking part in a good project last time. After retaining the prize tokun was useless ...
I think that the project should not always show instant profit. The profit can appear only in some years, by this time all bounty hunters already will sell the coins. As for this article, the question is how to correctly determine the criteria for the success and failure of projects.

How many projects did you join into? Why can you conclude that? I have join into more than 10 projects and all of them are good. So, the most important thing is researching skill than investing in anything you see.

I don't think 80% of ICO's are scams... Maybe a small % of ICO's really make it to exchanges and a decent marketcap, but that doesn't mean all the others are scams. Some projects might fail or don't get the interest it should.

In connection with many cases of fraud, trust in companies is lost. And even when companies look dignified, they turn out to be a scam. There is nothing to do here. You just have to be careful

I think you got it all wrong bro, I think 80% of ICOs are legit and 20% on it is scam. Not almost all ICO are scam. As of now, almost everyday, may ICO are launched and their project looks promising. You can Identify if the ICO is scam by first verifying it on their telegram community. Ask for any question regarding on the legalities on the ICO in the admin. Also the best thing to do is DYOR first before investing lot of capital.

It seems to me that the scam of projects is about 30-40%.  But there are very few successful projects.  Therefore, I advise you to spend time and find a good company.

I think the ICO scam has played a role in stabilizing the value of money. If there is no ICO scam, then the cryptocurrency will be out of control, then the bubble is the entire cryptocurrency and not the individual. The world grows together in light and darkness. Although I hate scammers very much. But this is an indisputable fact.

I do not think that scam projects are more than 80%. I think 40%, at most 50%. The main thing is to carefully choose projects, look at the team, whitepaper, etc.

When we talk about scam?, its different with low development of the team. Scam is just run away with the raised money. There are also many ICO's that have a weak potential for development and do not reach the goal, so the price of their token is constantly falling.  Maybe the percentage is smaller than 50%.

There are definitely ICO scams floating around. To consider it a "scam," The instigators must intentionally have no plans to build something, they only want to raise funds for their pockets. Yes, some may look like a scam, maybe it's just because they are incompetent to begin with - just armed with lofty goals in their whitepaper. Dreamers without skills. I think many fall into this category. Heck, just look at Gofundme - there are many in there.

Many ICO's are just hype. They spend money in getting a good site and building hype around it and after collecting huge sums of money, they never bother about developing the actual product. That's why we need to be more careful when selecting an ICO
I agree with your idea that many ICOs just do publicity and have no practical role. Their purpose is only to defraud the money. These fraudsters have severely disrupted the market and caused many investors to suffer losses of property. !

Like a bitpenta and cibus. I think a subject for fraud should be created. Cibus hurt me a lot, and now they ran away  Smiley

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology previously published its study, which showed more positive results, judging by which, fraudulent were from 5% to 25% of all ICOs.

Now really a lot of scam projects, but I think not more than 30%.  The remaining projects do not reach the soft cap.

But this does not stop people from further testing themselves in this direction. This is a revolution in the crypt and brings both profit and new players who are able to influence and create competition to certain tops.

80% too much to give ICO scam value, I more agree 50% for ICO scam, because there are a lot of ICOs out there that are nice and keep developing their project up to now

I don't think you're accurate enough. Most ico is just hype. Using the heat of the block chain to defraud investors.

Saying 80% of ICO are scam is bit particularly incorrect.  Many ICO have funding,  technical and others issues to deal with.  And most ICO including those one that were successful are still working on their project in order for them to realize their objective.  We can not condemn developing ICO simply because they are not mature yet!

Scams will not go away because they make money. If there was no money to be made in scams then Bitcoin and most coins would just fall away to be left to dust.
