its true, that is also the main reason why other countries cant accept cryptocurrency in their country. if they legalize cryptocurrency in their country, scam ico will spread in the crypto world and it will highly affect every investors.
This is why human can't advance, don't you think that if a country who wants to accept cryptocurrency only limit the crypto to for example top 5 with biggest volume will solve problem? It's kinda easy and I can say that most ICO's token or coin are mainly used for security not a real currency so yeah, not a really big problem judging on your statement.

Let us not think that some countries will not accept crypto because for sure in the long run they will change their decision. The world is moving fast and we need this kind of technology to help us, the conventional method is not already effective, when big countries adopt the rest of the countries will follow and there will be an international standard.

Currently there are many ico that failed because their sales results did not reach the target. there maybe some reasons but if the token sales reaches hardcap it will make ico project potentially become a successful ico. In my opinion only 50% if for 80% it is too much.

Since the end of last year, the number of Scam ICO projects has grown, there are not many concrete Mosshenics, but those projects that do not get their Softcup and merge!

Achieve 80% ICO fraud according to me it's not true. In fact, there are still many people who believe in the ICO. New investors and a lot of that goes to profit and the result is that a lot of their profit. With so many new ICO project made us a choice and we have to be absolutely in the best decision to create us.

Just info only, I never ketipu also time to participate campaign, but it turns out ICO is a scam. Initially the manager is always active in the thread like nothing strange, but when the campaign ends, the manager never appeared again and immediately offline so. So, be careful in choosing ICO do not let my experience happen to others.

What do you mean by the "scams" itself in this post? Well, there are scam ICOs that very make some investors feel scared to invest in the ICO. However, I don't know that it will hit 80%. I don't think so. Many ICOs are still legit ICO projects that we must support. The thing to consider is needed to evaluate whether the ICO is the scam or not. In this case, we can only know the ICO scams or not after the end of the ICO.

fraud exists in the market of these projects. but this process is much lower. most of the projects that failed and people it's not money were not a Scam, but simply poorly thought out. now there are a lot of projects and you need to carefully choose where you want to invest

I'm sure it's a lot less. now the market is really a lot of scams, but not exactly 80% is simply impossible

the main thing is not to participate in their bounty and not to invest. carefully study the essence of the project and then you will not fall into this trap

It is true that there are many scam ico, but it isn't up to that percent. We also have good project that have something to offer. I agree that there many scam project but not up to 80% which are scam.

I do not think up to 80% ico is a fraud. Maybe you're wrong to say that. Some ico are still very legit to invest, so do not hit flat 80% ico is a fraud. you should be more open and see nice ico-ico. And no need to blame ico who is a scam. that is my opinion.

You are right, because the successful ICO is very small now, and what is expected is that there should be a manager responsible for ICO... At least, this will limit the fraud of the project. I look forward to that.

To be honest, ICO is indeed this way, even higher than this. But if you are lucky, then you will be rich. Risk is proportional to profit. Just as if you had invested in telegrams and Twitter, you will now be a rich man. At least materially.

I do not understand where you got this statistics. It seems to me that 20-30 percent are scam, the other projects are quite working.

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.” "Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.” DYOR people ... There might be 80% of the ICO's that are out today were scams. But if there is no risk, then pretty sure you wont be making anything. There's a risk to everything we do to make profit. We just need to be careful. There are lots of hype ICO's that are coming out lately. So DYOR would be best. Google is our friend.

Unfortunately there are too many ICO projects that created for scam and nothhing more. The reason of that is the simplicity of the process that you have to go through to launch an ICO so many people use it to their favor.

Unfortunately, many projects are fraudulent. But we must make efforts to find a good project. Experience will help us in this.
