Since its ath of 20K last year December, bitcoin is declining. The price has dropped to $6000 in February and now it's gone to below $7000. But as we have seen time after time, the price eventually increases after hitting a bottom. And that will happen again, now that Bitcoin has dropped to $6500 today. The price will soon reach 10K again and will continue to soar.

Of course just like others's opinion here, I'm still very bullish about bitcoin and the graph shows that sooner or later it will bounce back and can even hit another all-time-high. Although it continues to slide and their is pressure amongst investors to sell this coins, I will rather just hold and see how it goes at the end of the year.
There is no way that the bears will remain on top, it will be a continues battle and I'm sure that the bull will somewhat regain the sentiments of the investors and we will see reversal after reversal before the end of 2018.

Not yet mate, I don’t see anything to fear just not yet. Price rise and fall is quite normal. Many factors play role to affect the price. There are already some little good news around Bitcoin. I believe very soon we will see the turn in price. Obviously it’s getting better and better every year.

With the past price of bitcoin and how it did bahaved it could probably reach a new all time high. Though it may take a very long time for that again to be reached.
Lets just wait try to see how bitcoin will behave in this new environment that it is facing. New regulations can affecr greatly the price of bitcoin.

The most beautiful scenario is that it will be down to $ 3000. But it will not go down in this batch as it will make the buyers feel frustrated. Bitcoin prices have not increases every year. There had been decrease as well in 1 year intervals for some instances. However, I think that crypto investments are only for long term. These days people are using for short term trading and some are even relying on it completely for their living. This is not correct approach in my opinion.
To get a good amount with your investment, you need to leave it for 4-5 years. In case of stocks, one has to wait for 30-40 years for similar returns.

Based on the graph shown, I am optimistic that bitcoin price will most likely to increase next month and hoping that it will end the resistance starting next month. As the figure shiws that bitcoin never fail to recover its market price after after its market price fall down instead the bitcoin price became higher and higher each year that passes by. that is why i am hoping that one day i could invest and afford to buy at least 1 btc. I think the graph is good and it shows the prices of bitcoin since the start. As this poster says he hopes one day to have one bitcoin but I think many people that bought before last year were able to buy many bitcoins due to the much lower prices. At the moment the price of bitcoin is low volatile and is not moving as much as last year so we need to be patient. |

Unfortunatelly I can't say that BTC willl continue its growth in price this year, as we all hope for. But what I beieve and I`m confident at all is that BTC wil continue its growth in the meaning of its adoption and tech development. And its due its strong community and the advantages of the whole blockchain technologhy that imo is one of the majour invent of the whole decade. The graph is a clear indication of the price trends of BTC over a period of time. But it doesn't necessary mean that that's the trend it will stick to. the prices will rise and fall but i still believe the market will recover with time and the prices will stabilize
The graph of bitcoin is getting high once again with each pump in price, do believe in bitcoin even if bitcoin price is not high, let the price of bitcoin be very high with holding for the long time, if you will make selling at low price with the market flow it will be in vain but you will have to hold your breath and wait for bitcoin price to be high, holding is the key of success in crypto currency, do not panic no matter what the situation will become, I think next few months are going to increase the price of bitcoin very high as at the end of 2018 bitcoin price will be 50k dollar or more than this. |

There are some other years that bitcoin move quietly and that is possible to happen, we may not know if this year is going to be the repetition of that sequence. I don't have an idea on what will happen next but I have the believe that it will pump soon. |

That's not to say that waiting until next April won't be alright, but like most people this bear market has taken a bit of a toll on my portfolio.

As we can see on the chart between 2013-2015 the proce dropped a lot from 1000$ to almost 400$ so thats awhat 60% drop without any major increase happening. I think the same thing is happening now, the price reached a new record at 19.000$ and after a few months it dropped to 6000$. Again thats over a 60% fall in just a few weeks and the history is repeating again. The price will surely go up in the next years but I think it will take a while until the price is going to reach again 19.000$ and after that go even higher.

Ultimately, Bitcoin doesn't have reasons to colapse. There is why I still believe in its long term raising and all the cryptocurrencies ecosystems development.
I also think that bitkoyn will go to the moon, many people do not trust the banks, but do not yet understand that bitcoin is the future. |

That is a good idea but we cannot base everything on the hope that history will repeat itself. Past results should not be our basis in this but what is currently shaping up on bitcoin scene. Regulations, acceptance and banning of bitcoin on countries will play a lot on determining where the price will head on the future. |

First of all, great graph. I am thinking that you really have spent quite a lot of time making that graph and getting all the necessary information to be able to build an accurate one. Thanks for the effort.
Although the graph shows clearly that there is somehow a bit of a pattern in the movement of cryptos in every year which shows increases in prices and all time highs, there are also times that the prices were pretty steady or should I say very close to being stagnant for a long period of time. But even so, this year is not like every year that have passed. The bearish market's duration took too long than expected and is still happening. I think that at these times is when we should consider making the recent events or developments of bitcoins together with the negative side of it be our basis for any speculation. Or better yet, start over and forget about the all time high last year. There are still quite a few people that are making profits at this bearish season. This will be the time to test all our trading skills and resourcefulness. Just saying.

I like how you displayed your idea with a graph. As for the bitcoin price, I am really happy to see this evolution. From 1$ to 18k$. Things have changed as the spread of bitcoin is reaching more people. I hope this year and next one will be good for both bitcoin and its supporters. Moreover, we should not lose hope due to this drop because it has already reached 18k$. Therefore, I am sure it will happen again and even exceeded that price.

The graph shows that bitcoin is trading too much stable for a long time and this is only because that bitcoin has a very strong support from its users, they are not letting the bitcoin price going down anymore, therefore it is expected that in near future the bitcoin price is expected to increase, because it will not stay here for a long time anymore, and hopefully will start increasing very soon. |

In recently bitcoin was caught in many government regulations. Many countries banned it. Despite, bitcoin was able to remain 6000$+ level in the first quarter of 2018. That is a high market support area for bitcoin. Also, many companies and investors gather around bitcoin. As well as we can predict bitcoin will rise again at the end of the year when compared to last year. Also, within next 2-3 months bitcoin will recover the market and start to next Bull Run. Also, I expect bitcoin will reach into 30k-40k at the end of the year. Thanks. |

As we can see from last years, we can easily say that Bitcoin value will keep increasing this year and surpass all its previous values. It is just a bad period now , but i am sure that this bad times will end , and that Bitcoin will rise again. All i am saying is based on prediction after analysing the previous years.

Bitcoin has survived in the days past from it starting we saw how bitcoin move from less then a dollar to above $19000 before the end of 2017 and the present fall in price of bitcoin is just volatility in action and the operation of the economic law of demands and supply and at that when the demands for bitcoin will recover again and we will see more steady rise in bitcoin price in the future.

Nice graphic and it looks like a diving board to me but i prefer to deal in facts and talk about the lightning
network being nothing more than a system of banking hubs, rip-off $55 fees from the miners and no one trusts
bitcoin these days and letting the market trend be your friend.
Pipe dreams don't rock my boat and I got out at $18k and to be frank I don't think I foresee the need
to buy back in to this market.
Some posts here are loaded with lead weights and some seem to be filled with hot air or am I the only one
who has noticed and dare speak out.

Mining is CPU-wars and Intel, AMD like it nearly as much as big oil likes miners wasting electricity. Is this what mankind has come too.

Maybe we won't see Bitcoin which worth $ 15,000-20,000 in this summer, but it can recover to $ 9,000 and higher to the end of the autumn. I hope that whales don't dump price below $ 6 k.

Base on the chart then we will see another good price for this year. We just have to endure all these challenges thats going through. I'll believe with those speculations that it can reach $30,000 but we habe to see it first recover and go back to 5 digits.

I think that Bitcoin price will continue to increase but I would like to focus on new things that might be implemented in Bitcoin. Lightning network will make transactions faster and cheaper. It will decrease the load of the whole chain. However it isn't not a perfect solution because you still have to broadcast a transaction when you open a new channel or close existing one. Now microtransactions will be possible.

In my opinion, it will be a little different. Sooner or later, the price will rebound up. However, this will not happen quickly. Many things are unclear. Some people need to cool down and get used to the changes. I think we have 3-4 months ahead of us when the price will rather fall down.

I think BTC will down more because many bad new. And altcoin is down more too. The hash-rate of BTC is decrease from 31k to 11k, over 10k transaction unconfirm and ANTpool of Bitman stop mining BTC

I think its important to remember that 7000$ for a bitcoin is not low. Just because we had a high on 20k doesnt make 7k low. Remember where we were in november 2017. With that bieng said i think we will go further down until around 4000, perhaps lower, before we start our climb up again. The future is with bitcoin but as with everythin, patience is key.

That's a nice graph image, well for the next because it really depends on a lot of things that affect it, I just more suggest to keep hold and patience, we never know everything will the statement is true or not from what we predict.. it's good continue to make various efforts to cover all conditions of price movements. Going to the higher direction, certainly no doubt as long as it remains popular .. it still has a high chance of reaching higher prices, especially if bitcoin is really well accepted in various countries again.

It sure seems really that we are not out of this downtrend at all and the bears still have a huge upper hand in the market. In my opinion, it will be a little different. Sooner or later, the price will rebound up. However, this will not happen quickly. Many things are unclear. Some people need to cool down and get used to the changes. I think we have 3-4 months ahead of us when the price will rather fall down.
Yeah we need enough time to fully recover and move the price at $10k which I think we could be a healthy market when the price will slowly increase and reach the all time high again this year. |

I like how you displayed your idea with a graph. As for the bitcoin price, I am really happy to see this evolution. From 1$ to 18k$. Things have changed as the spread of bitcoin is reaching more people. I hope this year and next one will be good for both bitcoin and its supporters. Moreover, we should not lose hope due to this drop because it has already reached 18k$. Therefore, I am sure it will happen again and even exceeded that price.
Well, let us see how this is going to go and in as much as I really do not like imagining so much how the market turns out, it totally seems this market is not even ready to bounce at all now and if we get to go lower and see the response on the previous low this year, we may end up getting to see how things would then turn out after then. For now though, the bears still look more like they have the whole market to themselves and we just have to wait and see how things turn out. |

Wow! This is incredible! I too have my own graph of how prices are going, and guess what, I am still on cloud nine seeing its growth from year to year. That is why I am not at all bothered with the decline in the first quarter because I know it will soon rise. It was just a time to invest in hence I held my Bitcoin then. Moving forward, I see a stagnation on the $8,000 level. But that is a good news because that only goes to show the market would not slump in the days to come and will settle for said level until such time it increases.

I have been observing Bitcoin for a long time and I am certain that it will recover thanks to people who always support it no matter what the price is. Some people say that the price was going down due to people reacting to FUD and whales manipulating Bitcoin price which would allow them to buy it for a lower price. Smart, especially if you take into account that this market is still inmature. It is easy to manipulate the price if you have a few thousand bitcoins which is a lot these days but there are many people who can afford this kind of thing.

After the huge dump or crash, bitcoins value has started to stabilize and just recently it slowly is moving up. If you notice that the price increase movement has started from slow but the speed is increasing daily. A new bullish market is now happening and its only a matter of time before we see 12k$. By December the bullish market will eventually soar up to 25k$ to 50k$. |

I do not know what will happen next because as of now i am totally confused after the highest market price for bitcoin which 19k USD and now down to 8k usd then it stabilizes a bit. I cant barely imagine if the people around the world will come.again to invest in bitcoin or will just let the system put to an end and the price will remain to 8k USD or it will fall again and come to lowet amount of it and another coins will rise up that could also achieve what bitcoin has achieve today. Yet if i had only tye chance and money to invest then probably i will invest in ether or bitcoin or both og these crypto because for sure there will be profit awaited on this proven and tested crypto.

Bitcoin was not increases every year for there was a year that bitcoin decline than the last year price. Although a little bit difference still it was not true that bitcoin increases every year. Today is another day, and tomorrow and the future is another bitcoin new way in crypto. I'm not so sure if what will be the price of bitcoin before the end of 2018. While it is true that there has been manipulation going on in the market of bitcoin, at the same time the huge crash that happened during the first months of this year cannot be blamed to any kind of manipulation, the price was simply too high it was impossible to maintain it for any longer and as soon as new money stopped entering in the market we saw the crash, people panicked and the rest is history, all the rumors only helped to make the decrease in the price slightly larger, and since the crash happened for market reasons I think we're going to see another growth for market reasons again. |

You are mistaken, trading the news can be very profitable but you need to know what you're doing, trading the news is trying to try to guess how the market is going to react to the news, this can be very difficult because sometimes the market reacts in a very abrupt way for a news that you may think are not a great deal, and the market may not move at all for news that you think should move it, also right now the price is above 9000 dollars in some exchanges, while I don't know if this is the bull run that many people have been expecting the fact that the growth is being kind of slow makes me more positive that we are finally in a positive trend. Bitcoin prices will rise in coming days. Prices will reach a great height.But as we know nothing can be surely predictable regarding bitcoin as it is a virtual currency.But this is sure that bitcoin is never going to end.These fake news are making people impatience and forcing them to sell there coins at very low rate.So try to hold your coins atleast upto that time when you feel that now i am getting atleast more than that at what i had purchased these coins.Bitcoin prices had already started to rise if we compare it with last week.So stay positive and keep on investing in bitcoin.In coming years it will be more popular among people as it has the potential to grab more croud.
Prices have risen in the past 3 days as you predicted.  But I think the current rise wasn't from fake news in this increase. It was in no doubt was seen from the recent move of the insane amount of bitcoins being moved from the mt.gox wallet which held all those users funds from this failed exchange. It is being said they are ready to send out refunds to those who had their funds frozen in their accounts when the exchange went down. As with anything in the crypto universe this is just purely speculation.  |

I think we will see 18k$ again, hopefully before the end of the year.
That's not to say that waiting until next April won't be alright, but like most people this bear market has taken a bit of a toll on my portfolio.
it is everyone's hope that bitcoin reach $ 18k or more like previous year and finally right now we can see bitcoin start to increase again, I think this is a good start for bitcoin to reach a new record in this year. no matter how much bitcoin price down, bitcoin will always recovered. The good thing in this recent events about its value is it shows a growing movement. Our expectations has been slowly fulfilled and probably this will continue within the next few weeks. This is the reason why we should hodl coins for a long-term basis because it will really happen that crypto will always increase especially Bitcoin. |

In my opinion, the bitcoin price will increase by the end of this year. Just like what happened last year. The bitcoin amount in USD on the first month of 2017 is about 900$ but in december the bitcoin reaches the highest amount if it with the amount of 17,000$+ But when the 2018 comes, the amount of bitcoin is suddenly goes down. Its about 9k So last year the amount of bitcoin starts at 900$ While this year the amount of bitcoin starts at 9k$ So maybe this year the amount of bitcoin will increases maybe double or triple the amount of it last december. |

Yeah we need enough time to fully recover and move the price at $9k which I think we could be a healthy market when the price will slowly increase and reach the all time high again this year.
The market is slowly increasing we can view btc maybe in the few months to fully recover. Yes it takes time to fully recover but this time it is already good bitcoin rate is closed to $10k. I think will happen next is more surprises in bitcoin ahead. |

We all have to be honest about our investment plans and spots because we should get the most possible profit from the world’s number one currency and that is called the Bitcoin. There is only Bitcoin that is looking into our problems and preventing us from the evils of old systems. We demand for the bitcoin and in future the price will become more than that of the last year highest jump. This is due to the increasing rate of demand for bitcoin. At the same time, we cannot expect new peak price to happen overnight. It must take its own time so that it will be a consistent price levels. If it will be happen tomorrow itself then it must be a bubble and it may get burst at any time. I guess no one will be preferring that. |

it's true you say that until whenever the bitcoin will never be low or small volume, because the bitcoin every year it always increases, especially in 2018 is certainly bitcoin can reach a value of $ 25 thousand of course I think till the end of this year the price will be the same because almost half year is going to finish and the price is below $9k. Almost $11k deficit in the price. So I think that the price will round about $8-10k till December this year. People are now looking here and there for their investment because they believe no more in bitcoin and nobody want to lose his money. |

I think we will see 18k$ again, hopefully before the end of the year.
That's not to say that waiting until next April won't be alright, but like most people this bear market has taken a bit of a toll on my portfolio.
it is everyone's hope that bitcoin reach $ 18k or more like previous year and finally right now we can see bitcoin start to increase again, I think this is a good start for bitcoin to reach a new record in this year. no matter how much bitcoin price down, bitcoin will always recovered. The good thing in this recent events about its value is it shows a growing movement. Our expectations has been slowly fulfilled and probably this will continue within the next few weeks. Bitcoin value will move higher than what we saw late last year with the way things are going at the moment because from your chat i do believe that the height in 2017 is not the real height in the value of Bitcoin yet. So we expecting a higher value of Bitcoin before end of December this year compared to that of last year.

Not actually by year but sometimes by quarter. There is no definite time or amount of bitcoin how much it will increase or decrease at any period of time. We are in the fifth month of the bear market now. I could imagine to go sideways, therefore the big money accumulating for another 1-2 months, and then we hopefully see some significant uptrend until the end of the year. Price wise something between 12k to 15k and I would be very satisfied already.
But there is always the other side of the medal which let us seem way more down pressure than probably most of us expect. This is the scenario I think we all would like to somehow avoid if possible.

Can't take the possibility that it will continue to climb up high, but it won't be just like of what happen last year. Gradually increase it's price are just good as it won't create losses. 2017 scenarios are just a leaving tears to some people who are investing bitcoin at its peak cause until now, they still losing instead of having profits.
