Why did you decide to choose between two incompatible coins. The ether is the unconditional leader of the alts and will always be on top, the tron has very high volatility and is more like a pump and is not intended as an ether for long-term storage. It might be better to consider the waves instead of the tron.

I believe now is the time for you to buy TRX coz it will be launching it's mainnet for the end of may. I'd say both, split or its up to you but pick both coins, they're both great in their own ways and works differently but holding two is better than one, i mean lets follow what the most investors usually do, to never put all the eggs in one basket, I'm not saying the Ethereum is better than Tron or the other way around, its just that no when things didn't work out well at one coin at least you have another or if both things work perfectly then its a profit.
