Can someone explain to me what Vostok is? A new ico?
Sasha got bored and set up a new blockchain for corporate use only using Waves technology funded by Waves investors. Yes, they'll be an ICO, but plebs like us are being largely kept out - it's mainly for the super wealthy, minimum $250K investment. I believe, that Vostok is a good thing and there will be others heading towards a similar solutions. Open source can not be used everywhere and block chains have their limitations. There are a lot of large institutional organisations, which are holding back on block chain technology because they can't run on the current solutions. Vostok will bring additional resources to Waves and that's ultimately a good thing for growth.

After last spike now Waves looks more good and that support came from injected money into this market has established floor more higher. Yesterday it was looking like price are declining once again but recent rebound shows totally other thing. You are again in a position where you can say if no major selling out in Bitcoin markets like Waves will keep growing from here.

Agreed with you Sasha has nothing to do at the moment so he find this way to keep him busy to bring this project and get more money to spend them to keep maintain luxurious life style. I don't think it is necessary to bring new project even first one is still incomplete.

precisions for first emission are on vostokone.io airdrops for waves bearers are not negligible at the emission price. after that, i understand that there will be 3 entities using waves technology: -waves platform that we know already, ongoing unchanged; -tokenomika for registered transactions with kyc, using the same waves -vostok for industrial uses, using VST please comment

It looks that Waves price looks better on the falling market than on the bullish. Now price around 2 dollars per Wave looks not bad for me. If you have invested to Waves than you lose not so much as in BTC or ETH.
Do you think that it is some real reasons why Waves not growing fast as other crypto and falling slower as well?

What is more secure? Waves client or Waves keeper? "SEEDs and private keys are encrypted and stored within the extension and cannot be accessed by the dApps and services on the web, giving you peace of mind that your funds are always safe from hackers and malicious sites. Completing a transaction doesn’t require entering any sensitive information."

Hello. This question has been answered in Telegram group previousy: "Waves Keeper is just a browser extension which adds a new layer of security just like Metamask for Ethereum wallets for example. You can protect your already existing Client account via Waves Keeper. They both are absolutely safe and can't be hacked itself but only if there's a malware on a victim's device or owner of the account got phished." Sincerely, Waves Community Manager

I recommend to use the Waves client. After download check if the checksum is valid and if it corresponds with the checksum given by the developers. Waves Keeper is a Chrome browser extension that has less functionality than the Waves client.

For good projects in bearish times I watch daily volume than daily price changes. Waves has maintained its volume over $2 millions for all previous months. You can compare it with other markets to understand what means true support and accumulation of months. Not every big market of has sustained volume this decline is telling weak support for those and this to be watched.

Waves is dead 4 months ago. It was very popular at the end of 2017 and at the beginning of 2018. But it started to fall and never stopped...
Waves isn't dead, Waves is a newborn on the scene. Look how many years it took bitcoin, this is only the beginning. I believe in Waves, thats why we are building on it's platform. Waves will end up being as expensive as ETH, heed my words. Also keep in mind, some people like myself will go all out to make their custom Waves token successful, when a token on Waves Dex is successful this also helps Waves. Their are over 21k tokens created on the Waves blockchain, of course most aren't super serious tokens, but there will be many successful tokens on the Waves blockchain and when this happens Waves will skyrocket. Just watch! Get Waves now while it's cheap!

I have not seen a precise explanation, I suppose that VST will run on another blockchain similar to waves, without need for a fork? wait and see.

I hope after this upgrade it will make this more secure and all useless and scam tokens will disappear after this.

I hope the same, it's literally oversaturated with stupid useless coins with the craziest names. There is literally a token named "EVERYONE" lol as a developer building on the WAVES with my own custom token the fact that there are thousands of senseless tokens like that is a slap on the face.
