Yah, it's hard to really judge which projects are good or bad. But we can limit the scams by ghost ICO. Read the whitepaper carefully and see if the community response will help you. I recognize a common feature, projects come from China, or say there are key members from this country, most will succeed (not all), they rarely defend forced phishing. Some of the names on the market today include EOS, QTum, NEO, TRON, QuarkChain, GXS, ... Yes, it is absolutely hard to find out which ICO is good, even when you have fully knowledge about it. If you do not know anything about the way to analysis them, I think you should learn them on social media. There are many people who can guide you in analyzing a potential ICO project.

if the coin/token have a good roadmap and the development is active just buy and hold it. I’ve been looking for a lot of ico information online. Im currently following SciDex, they are helping scientists to share data which is very important for example in my profession. Hope their project succeeds. Take a look  |

There are a lot of ways:
1) Check website and whitepaper for mistakes and bugs
2) You should like the idea of ICO
3) Check the team and their profiles
4) Check ICO on rating websites: icobench, trackico and so on
5) Check bounty of this ico. If there a lot of high rank participants, then it is going to be good one.

There are lots of ICO's are really engaging into a scam so i think its better to read the whitepaper see all the members if it really exist and the main thingbif there are lots of high ranks whobjoined from it,i think that is a legit one,we here as members better look the right one and research more to never waste of money and time.

If you can't judge whether ICO is feasible or not, then I think you can invest in a successful project and buy it at the exchange. Even if the profit is not as high as ICO, but the risk is small and profitable, this is very Important, we should not be greedy

There is no hard and fast rule to know that. But there are things that you can do to be a little more safe. Study the project well, check the team behind it and do check about that project in this very forum. In this forum there are alot of professionals who postmortem any project that seems fake, But even that won't be a guarantee that the project is not a scam but yes it just adds a few more layers of security for your investment.
