I don't understand what's wrong with the price of RVN specifically. I see that every coin first fell a lot and then the last 6 days or so has been increasing in value little by little.
RVN had an about average price action in comparison to other coins, even considerably more positive sometimes (again, compared to other coins).

The Ravencoin ‘Legal Fund’ initiative

Some might've noticed some rumors and talks about a community initiative to get a 'legal fund' setup. This fund will only be used for 'legal purposes'. Such as paying lawyers to review Ravencoin as a whole & give their opinion in a memo. Today is the day I'll officially announce the start date of this initiative. Which will be on: Thursday 21st of June.

I hear you thinking, what is all this about???

The idea got started after seeing that Ravencoin had troubles with his/her trading liquidity at exchanges & the community members having trouble with depositing and withdrawing their beloved Ravencoin's. In order to get Ravencoin better liquidity with exchanges that are more trustworthy the remaining step was getting a legal opinion with a statement that Ravencoin is not a security. To fix this rock on the listing process we decided to setup a community driven ‘Legal fund’. Funding the 'legal fund' will be done by miners, pool-ops & investors who are willing to donate.  I first made sure we would have the pools on board, to make sure this initiative would be backed by the pool-operators themselves. A list of participating pools will be listed in another message below.  Then after having quite a few pools on board I checked the animo level among the whole community with three main questions. The scores among the questions will also be listed below this message (they were positive!).  

While receiving a positive response on the questions and having several pool-ops on board we decided to continue to pursue the initiative. The decision has been made to collect at least 800k RVN up to 1000k RVN. This will be collected at a multi-signature wallet, which consists of a 3/5 wallet. Signers include admins/moderators & community admins from this particular discord. To make it clear, the company Bittrex has tipped us to use charges 20k USD for this legal memo. But we are considering multiple options to obtain a valid legal opinion.  Feel free to start hashing at pools donating parts of their pool fee's or make a small donation yourself to help Ravencoin a little further.

That's the number they are going with for now.

The answer is yes though, you will have to burn RVN to create an asset.

I've heard mention, nothing concrete, about maybe having the amount change if it becomes cost prohibitive. Could just be rumor mill stuff.

That is for you to decide. If you believe in a bright future for RVN you best hodl. Or you can do both, for example, 80% HODL 20% SELL

How do I pick from which RVN address I'll send coins in Raven core wallet?
Why it didn't create for me the address that unspent coin went to? I can see the balance for it added to total balance but can't see the address in my receive addresses.
