How many coins per block, what is the coin limit if their is one and what is the rate of change of coin generation over time if there is one.

Any sources of info on this would be gratefully received.

Did you read the top post?

It'd been a long night; didn't see it thanks.

How does the stated 1% inflation work?

Nodes
The client should connect to the network automatically but if you have trouble connecting, try opening the debug window console and type these commands,
addnode 162.243.67.4 add
addnode 162.243.54.126 add
addnode 37.139.29.236 add
addnode 64.90.183.137 add
addnode 180.183.205.118 add

Sorry, is it only me that cannot get this to work? Already added all the nodes but still "No block source available".. Any ideas?

I had to use a batch script to get it to connect. I'm in a typical NAT behind a firewall, but outbound ports are not restricted so I'm not sure why it was required. Just put this in a .bat file and it'll probably work.

Current stats:

Running: FX 8320 3.5 GHz - 8 Cores
Settings: 4 Threads - 512 MB per thread - 64 bit system

Total Earnings:

Really excited about this currency, however, I have some concerns as botnets can really dominate this currency as they mine on CPU and not ASIC / GPUs.

The exchange rate of PTS to high ($5-$8), today it's profitable to mine with VPS's.
Let's see what will happened after next difficulty re-target. 1425 block to next re-target ~24 hours.

Using getwork miner I get a bunch of Accepted: 0 above the HPM display. Is this normal? I'm connecting using rpc server and using the web port (80) node. My HPM is 90.

Thanks.
I'm interested to find out how many PTS shares had been mined prior to the fork and how many left to be mined, ... until the end of the year, I guess?

Original goal was 2 years, 2 million PTS.
Currently, per http://btsblock.com/, we're at 891,724.
The hard block was close to 500,000 if I remember right.

Just found this gem, read the white paper and like it a lot!

Edit: I like the memory-hard approach with momentum but would not endorse the blockchain just yet as I briefly read something about a huge pre-mine which is one of the ko criteria for every alt-chain.

PTS is not a normal alt-chain, the value is based on deliverables promised by the company backing it - Invictus Innovations

And as far as I know they lost out on the initial difficulty problems, their miners didnt arrive until after the hardfork to correct it so they did not start mining until it was much harder to mine, if they mined at all.
