If you are an investor and you don't have that much money to invest then you can choose altcoins as your main investment. But it's always been advisable to get those coins that are primarily well known in the market. Those cheap coins or undervalued coins depends on how they are usable and how the developers of it are very active. You're lucky if you invested to those coins that has a marketing and group of developers that are very active doing something to promote and make that coin valuable.

It's okey if you like altcoins. But I think one project isn't the competitor of others. Though there are different project already launched and people are going to invest there. I  also like SciDex coin, altcoins, BTC, bitcoin. But don't think each project is the competitor of other projects.

We can also see it in crypto marketcap, usually coin which is in the top 10 position then it will have a good potential to be invested. coin such as Etherum, ripple, bitcoincash and EOS can be an alternative choice in investing. Although I believe that Bitcoin remains the top choice, but investing in altcoin can be an option because it will usually occur pump and dump, well it can we use to get a much bigger profit.

I do think Yes because most of the crypto millionaire today are altcoin investors.
Investing on Bitcoin is painful today and that's why investing on altcoins instead will offer higher rewards and earnings than Bitcoin.
