It's a good method of investing your funds, but to say that it's the best, I don't think that's a certainty, reason being that there are a lot of altcoins in the market and not all of them have the potential of making you get some earnings. A lot of them are scams and it is quite risky to invest in them.

Looking at the current state of the market I don’t think that altcoins are the best investment to make right now it's better to keep all of your investments locked down into tether which is a USD coin or better into bitcoin until the market does not become stable enough.

Since the market is down, I could state inbesting in atcoins are way better contrasted with putting resources into Ico. The reason is on the grounds that you never again need to hold up more than the person who put resources into ICO to see a cost increment. altcoins are not something you invest in. it's just some fun to have, like buying a lottery ticket. you need to realize that before you do any of these risky trades. i personally have 95% of my portfolio in proven coins (your classic BTC, ETH, Dash, etc) and coins that i TRULY think will matter in the future (Neo,BCC, XMR (!!!)). you expect to go 2x - 5x on the long term with this kind of investments. 5% i just put into small things of which the whitepaper and concept kinda make sense. recently I've taken a liking to OMG, NEO and baby coins like Binance and XST. just read up on the coins, don't buy anything before you understand it

It is really hard to answer this since right now the market is really at a bear and most of the altcoins are down. ICOs has lost their steam and even new projects are holding off before they sell their tokens. But Altcoins really have the higher return of investment in comparison with those established ones.

Yes... Altcoin is the best way if investment to accumulate and secure more profit... Example is PKG coin that moves from 3sat to 200sat...thus, giving lots of profits to the traders/holders

No, it is sad but BTC is more reliable now because of its position on the market like very stable one. And people believe in it and invest. It is like a circle.
